@jpmbtt if i were you i would just get an 08. price differences are not much between 07 and 08 and i just havent had any luck with my 07, start problems crank has locked up tore whole motor up. not saying all 07s are crappy but mine has been. i much rather would have gotten an 08.

Yes its a great bike and runs real strong, has great suspension for harsh landings but could improve for braking bumps, is amzingly flickable and has a light feel, and corners amazingly, and will last extremely long if maintained well. But, be sure to check the valve clearance every 10 to 15 hours it even says this in the manual but i was hard headed and ignored the manual and now my 2007 CRF250R wont start due to loss of compression and im paying the price :(

I have the 2007 verison and no ive had no problems at all with bogging..used to have the X version and that sometimes did but my 250R has no problems

This is a perfect beginner bike! I am 5´11 and 200 Ibs and a made a big mistake and bought a kawasaki 450 :-) Damn nice bike but waaaaay to much power.. Buy a 250F and go with a stiffer shock spring to match your bodyweight.. and maybe stiffer springs in the fork :-)

Honda has stopped making 2 strokes so it can focus all it's energy into 4 strokes, that's why it is better than all the other brands.

No there not. Kawasaki stopped making 2 smokes in like 07 so they could focus on only making four strokes. Hondas are great bikes! but there not really better... There all about the same. they couldnt race then against each other if they were that different.

The only reason i like Honda is because they put dual exhaust on the 07 CRF250R..and because they make good 2 stroke bikes.. But Yamaha is still better..

@jpmbtt idk, thats just my expirience. i still love them tho, but my quad takes a good 7 minutes to start up and get warm in 40-50 degree weather while my friends get theirs warmed up in only like, 2 minutes

cuz four strokes do that, they're soo easy to stall in whoops when sumthin goes wrong.

but i don't get why he would rev it out like that. true they r testing durability, but on a 4 stroke its better to stay in the mid-upper rpm range, but in the meat of the powerband. on 4 strokes noise does not equal power. that guy must be a 2 stroke rider, but he's still fairly skilled.
