  • So much for the planners. Did they plan to get rid of all the industry and half the population, fill the town with neds and druggies?. Yeh big improvements. Minimum wage jobs that nobody wants. Greenock has seen better days lets hope that the planners of the future do somthing to bring them back. Greenock deserves it.

  • Delighted to see this old footage of Greenock - where I lived as a child and first went to school - many thanks for posting it here. Just a pity about the English presenter who can't even pronounce 'Greenock' properly (just like most English - something which has driven me to distraction for decades since I've lived away).
