Oh also if u fight him for awhile he starts to get really mad and the game sends lots of random messages. like: 'Odin, ok thats enough. Petricity in 4...3...2...1..." lots of random messages like that. You should try removing the hermes sandals and see how long you can drag out the fight. Its really interesting. I just set my hp to infinity (using a cheat) and drew it out as long as possible. Try it out, and if you can, tell me what your results are.

Me too, I was like level 75 when I fought him so I had insane HP and I had HP+%50 and X-attack, I hasted my party and went to town using magic sword+x-attack, I fought him a few times and sometimes a member or two would die but I got lucky one time and my whole party was intact.

It is fun to fight GOGO(FF6)I beat him to at lvl 99 and his stats are lvl 77/hp:47,714.Oh in the real story he does cast N zone on him self.

you actually can kill him it just is extremely hard. Rapid Fire/X-Fight works wonders as shown.

Did this at Lv48 with all but one (Lenna) having Sshot!/Mix!, and Lenna with blue!/Jikuu!. Mix Elixir/Dragon fang; and Holy Water/Antidote for each (HPX2, LV+10). Then have Lenna cast Haste2 and Guardian. After that, Sshot! Gogo to death with the three plus casting white wind or Meteo from the last character depending on situation. I have 50% chance winning doing this without cheat code.

Some people just don't get it... it's not necessary to fight Gogo, but it's fun!! Lots of fun.

Here's one way to kill gogo. Have 3 or 4 members of your tribe using the Chemists Mix Ability. Then cast Dragon Power (GBA name) on Gogo 9 times. To do Dragon Power mix a potion with a dragon fang. After 9 Dragon Powers Gogo's level will be 255, so you can use a Blue Mage and cast level 5 death on Gogo. You will want to use phoenix downs on your party when gogo knocks one of your members out (which happens immediately after you cast Dragon Power on him).

I know it may seem incredible but I was able to beat gogo without using cheats, you see I leveled my characters to around 76, so they had naturally high hp and I just x-fought him.
