WHY didn't my answer post? Stupid Youtube. Anyway. YES! This song is awesome! It's from the EP Cherry Tree, which has at least 3 or 4 other awesome things you NEED to hear. I didn't find it anywhere, so I downloaded it... But eh, I payed for everything else, and I'll pay for seeing their show if they ever get their asses in Montreal, so I don't feel guilty.

And WHAT IS Dark was the night? If it contains The National I NEED to hear it... Almost just as much as YOU NEED to watch Skins.

It's a compilation of a bunch of indie artists for AIDS awareness. It's got Jose Gonzalez, The New Pornographers, Sufjan Stevens, EVERYONE. I got it at Rasputin last time I was in San Fran. I'll be downloading that ASAP next time I'm actually logged in to my own computer. I have the same logic as you. Hopefully moving to LA will increase my chances of seeing them. :P I've seen bits of Skins, but... I dunno. I'll watch it when I get my laptop. :D
