I know you probably won't respond but..I love watching your videos at 5:30 in the morning when I can't sleep..I usually smoke a bong hit and watch this..Very relaxing :)
Why are there so many abandoned properties in Japan and nothing in the USA? In the USA it seems there's no "wild" places left (at least on my side of the USA). In Japan there are so many structures and farms that people put so much effort into and now will revert back to nature because the younger generation is too lazy or whatever to deal with it. If Japan would allow it I'd have no issue going there and reviving an abandoned farm. However Japan doesn't seem to have a way for me to go there.
@yesiamanalien There are hundreds of thousands of acres of old human habitat land in the wild and in cities that are abandoned like this. It's the way of economy and geography. Living a place that has no income or is failing will do that, it has nothing to do with youthful laziness nor your shallow view that US youth are more industrious than Japanese youth.
@SardonisLamir You assume I think US youth is more industrious. I believe all developed world kids and teens are lazy. There may be a few that aren't but the vast majority are lazy. As for abandoned properties in the US, I live in a very poor area. Very few jobs and lots of people. There are no abandoned properties. Everything is for sale and for prices are that insane for what the properties are. Also where I am there is only tiny patches of woods. No decent woods for long ways.
Absolutely love your videos. I could watch these all day. Pity you didn't film this at night, with moonlight diffusing through the trees. It would be so creepy.
Really cool. Reminds me of when I used to go into the woods behind my house and find old run-down tin sheds people would have left there for 20-30 years or so. Sometimes I used to find old jars or tools, sometimes coins. That kind of stuff is the reason why I love your videos and your style of exploration so much. You truly observe and enjoy everything, and it shows how we can find enjoyment even in the simplest of objects or memories.
The first building (without window and 2 chimneys ventilation + the racks interior) was to be useful has to disinfect the fruits, undoubtedly with sulphur (S16).
Fantastic video Kurt, really enjoyed watching the whole thing! Also, a suggestion should you want to or end up taking a video that's longer than 15 minutes: split it up into part 1, part 2, etc. That way you can still put it on the Abandoned Japan channel. Thanks for the videos and keep them coming =)
Hello softypapa, This place is undoubtedly an old agricultural company (orange, bamboo). The bamboo plantation has a thirty years means (I can be mistaken) and it very invaded. The rails was surely used for to descend and assemble the cases d' oranges… Thank you very much for your video
I am thrilled that you are starting this new channel Kurt. I have always loved to explore abandoned buildings. I will go along with you and enjoy every minute....Doug...=)
This channel seems like it'll be really interesting!! :D Thanks for this!! :D I'm always interested in this like this, but I'd be too afraid to get too close! Now, I can see these things! :D
Thanks Kurt. It's always a good time to go exploring with you. I am so happy that you make these consistantly. Had I continued to live up in the SF Bay Area, an abandoned channel would have been perfect. There was so much to explore up there.
@patsybob Hi Patsy or uh Bob whichever.....that gunshot like noise you heard is a propane powered device to scare the critters away from a farmers field.....great idea in my opinion..... Doug....=)
@onmilo Hello Mike........that gunshot like noise you heard is a propane powered device to scare the critters away from a farmers field. Kurt put up a video about it. check it out.... Doug....=)
Whats with all the monorail trams that have all been abandoned? I see allot of them in your hiking videos. Would be interesting to know the story behind them. cheers
Thank you!!!! And just a day after I mention that this is how I found you :) I got some timing! Ive subbed to your new Abandoned channel when I saw it yesterday and now I am waiting for my coffee to brew so I can sit back and take a walk with you! :)
Really nice video. For some strange reason I had the impression that something will jump at me hahaha... Plus you whispering makes it even more intense :o)
im glad you went inside the house that is what i was anticipating the most - fascinating to see what has been left behind in abandon places...but im surprised your not nervous about getting bitten by a poisonous spider your pretty brave man!

@yesiamanalien Japan will never offer you a way to go there. You must find your own way. Trust me, if you want to go to Japan, you can find a way.

Brilliant video as always. On the first building the pad lock's make had 'AGE' etched into it, thought that was quite appropriate.
