I tend to find that people in advertisement are the dumbest folks you will ever meet. This video sort of proves my theory. No one on earth, and I mean NO ONE clicks those annoying invideo ads. They're annoying items every rational human immediately closes. Why anyone ever thought that I would somehow want to click an advertisement while trying to enjoy a youtube video is beyond me. In fact, when I see these ads, I make a mental list of the products and proceed to avoid them at all costs.

I say customize ad exposure on a per user basis. Those who like to click ads should get more exposure. Those who never clicked an ad should get less.

The side ads are OK, but the invideo ones are just taking it too far. They are the most annoying thing I have ever seen on youtube.

I wouldn't mind a scrolling line and the bottom of the video, but this thing can easily eat 30% of the display available to an embedded video.

It makes me consider YouTube only as a temporary solution to use until I can afford a paid, but still low-cost, solution.
