Just search You Tube for Celtic Woman and you will see one for their concerts featuring Lisa Kelly. Personally I like her version better than Enya's, but that is just my personal opinion.
Why is there such a debate over which gender is better and what does that have to do with this song? THere are some things that women were just meant to do and some things men were meant to do. Not necessarily equal but one without the other is like half of a cup or half of a bucket. It just doesn't hold water. Still don't know what that has to do with this song, though.
This video and song is way too beautiful to be blown away by the comments that some of the viewers are leaving. Just let yourself be taken away by the majestic and mystical feeling of it. I dont think that either sex is the supreme being. Wether their energy is more powerful or not. Both sexes are part of a whole and until we accept that , whatever religion, belief, or moral standards you may have neither male or female will be more powerful or more important than the other. We are all one part of a whole, together we are truly powerful. Apart and independendant we are strong but alone. Female and male energy are only truly complete together.

The bible does teach to treat others as equals. Colo. 3:18-19 says that while wives should submit to their husbands, husbands should love their wives and not be harsh to them. So, each serves the other. I think what he meant was that the man is traditionally the spiritual leader, and helps his family to grow stronger. But they can also help him. i have not contradicted myself at all SeeraAi. I can and WILL defend my own gender by attacking the other. While you are right that i have been crude with my descriptions, i make no apology for them. Women have very little to justify a beleif that they are superior to men, however they still do it. While i disagree with the methods that have been employed by our ancestors, and the general ill treatment of womens rights, i can objectively see its merit.

Men do hold qualities that may INITIALLY make one presume that they are superior. This is not an army of men conspiring against women, and i fundamentally refuse to take any blame for the actions of others simply because i am of the same gender. Something that many feminists seem to think men should do. Have you read about the guilt classes of the 70s? I agree with you that my oversimplification of 'all women' is wrong. And i hope that you appreciate as a heterosexual male i am fully aware of that. however i completely disagree with the statement that we live in a patriarchal society. I beleive the education system, economy and indeed politics have been feminised to a large degree. Before you jump onto the large amounts of men in office, i hope you consider who they work for. In our society it is often the loudest wheel that is changed first.

Look at it this way devil miro. You can have a 100 men in the world but if you have only one female then you won't get anywhere fast enough to repopulate the world. But if there was 100 females and only one male then you are more likely to get somewhere. The female energy is the Goddess, she gave birth to the Earth. Wiccans I think usually worship the Goddess, but I worship both the Goddess and the Horned God.
The difference between Wiccans and Pagans are
Think of it this way:
Christian > Lutheran or Methodist or Jehovahs Witness
Pagan > Wiccan or Asatru or Dianic or Eclectic Witchcraft
