  • Great video, very helpful!

  • Best one I found, great pace thanx!

  • Do you know BSL?

  • He did the T differenter than sesame street did lol ..

  • Does it matter what hand you sign with?

  • @MDRedboneCoonhound always sign with your dominant hand

  • So far I found this photos of the ASL ABC most updated and 99.9% accurate - asl.ms/()/images2/abcslideshow.htm

The letter B's thumb can cross over the palm a bit more than what is shown here. Otherwise I haven't scoured the entire YouTube's ABC videos.... if I come across one, I'll check it out.

  • Thank you! Every other video, it's very hard to tell which fiingers go where. With this video, I could even see the P! And that's just difficult! Extremely! I don't know how people can sign that!

  • @GenshoTanzakaya With a lot of practice and watching various ASL signers ---- it'll become second nature.

  • it's hard :S

  • would you make a bsl one ?

  • @DeafBren You're the first one to request a BSL video. If your comment receives enough votes, or if there's enough of a demand, then yes.

To everyone else: Thank you for all your comments. I read them all.

  • @justinbieber4evr0327 i can say my name to now ty ty ty ty dead serous tobout my name

  • that was really awkward..

  • Lovely art work but a lot of the hand positions (parameters) were incorrect. Make sure to consult with a professional ASL teacher or tutor to be sure it's all in the correct formation. Don't want to mislead others.

  • @protectredwoods Can you recommend a better video to learn from?

  • great work!!

  • Cool hand

  • Well Sign Language. Not two hands of a to z. Better one hand of a to z.

  • Dude thank you so much in asl tomorrow we have to spell the whole alphabet! And its a test grade!

  • I'm not deaf but i've always been wanting to learn asl so I downloaded an app on my ipod & I knew the alphabet in 20 mins maybe less..now, I can recite it in 30 seconds :)

    Btw, great video..

  • i am learning how to do the alphabet in sign language this helps thanks.

  • im not deaf but i know alot of signs but not the whole alphabet this was a great help :-D

  • Part 2)my grandparents wouldn't give up that's why i can speak and hear as well as i do I just found ur awesome web site an i would like to say thank you. :-D

  • i wish they had technology like this when i was a child, after many surgery's and many E.N.T Dr's from around the world worked on me.Then at the age of 9 1/2 i received a voice box.Used it for many years and was vary grateful for it.at the age of 12 my grandmother found a doctor at a children s Hospital in oakland C.A coming from Utah, long story short i can now hear 40% r. ear and 68%l. ear. im vary greatfull for my hearing and i fallowed with speech therapy for many years.

  • omg thank you soooo much i wish i would have found this a year ago my gf and i wre dating and she is deaf i tried to learn but she dumped me before i had the chance for someone who had more experience understanding her quite helpful thank you

  • most helpful one i've found thx alot

  • Wow, this is one of the best videos I've watched so far. Thanks soo much!

  • The ASL alphabet is like the LSQ (Langue des Signes Québécoise) alphabet in French Canada!!!

  • FLOATING HAND XD

  • The side that we see now... is it the side, that has to be seen by the person with whom I'm talking to ??

  • @grossetoby i believe so because LM S, perhaps some others (i am a noob) would be indestinguishable, but i think O is easy to read either way..

  • Cool, but I think people might actually think you sign the "C" sideways and the "H" and "G" outward with the palm...better to do it just how you see it in real life, or make a caveat

  • is there an auslan version?

  • thank u...this was much easier than other videos...at showing each letter

  • THIS IS SO COOOL

  • this was very easy to follow thank u

  • GREAT! -LOVE WATCHIN' MY 3 YR OLD LEARN THIS WAY, OTHER THAN MY TEACHING. (OTHERS TEACH THE SAME ), HE SAYS

  • good job, thanks for posting. :)

  • turn your volume off...

  • @phatphunkster22 yep. im in a library with no headphones so i figured id practice a bit. :)

  • the problem is that it's got music to it. that's kind of distracting to the learner.
