  • india has gone crazy!

and i wanna be the part of this crazyness!!!

    ISRO gimme a job!:p

  • जय हिन्द !!!

    भारत माता की जय हो !!!

  • Impressive!

  • ISRO is also planning to send Indians to the moon. :D

  • kashsoldier; aap ki RashtraBhakti ko hamara pranam.

  • Today there are seven Indian-made and operated remote sensing satellites in orbit, the largest number of any country in the civilian domain.

They can map at a resolution of less than a metre, which means you can literally count the number of soldiers marching in a formation, anywhere on Earth.

  • what do u mean by "country in the civilian domain" what does that mean?

  • remote sensing satellites for studying weather, studying global change and managing global resources !!

  • so india does not have any miltary saterlites, for strategic miltary planning? so what u saying is indian miltary uses civilian technology for the miltary?

  • According to the Indian government, both satellites (Cartosat 2 launched in January 2007 and Cartostat 2A launched in

April 28 2008) are designed for help in planning urban and rural development projects, but can also be used to gather intelligence for military.

The Cartosat 2A will reportedly give the Indian government the ability to monitor missile launches from either China or Pakistan.

  • Some say CARTOSAT 2A is India's first dedicated military reconnaissance satellite. It will cater to military and intelligence specifications than any existing Indian satellite.

  • Kash didnt India make a World Record by launching the most Sattelights at one time?

  • next we will say hello to Chandran :)

  • well done India.

Let us all help our country to become a powerfull nation soon.

  • Yeah but you guys have to remember that ISRO works on very limited budget compare to other countries

ISRO was denied technology by advance countries, still ISRO manage to pull it off

that is indeed great achievement.... Now world looks at ISRO for its satellite launches

within 7 to 8 years ISRO will send two India in space, with help from its own rocket

Guys this year ISRO is busy and I am expecting each launch a successes and we will celebrate it here

Thanks, take care all of you

  • This was a great achievement, as this was core alone and launching multiple payloads. The dual use tech we learnt from this little experiment is great!

    Congrats !!!

  • In its twelve consecutively successful flights so far, PSLV has repeatedly proved itself as a reliable and versatile workhorse launch vehicle. It has demonstrated multiple satellite launch capability having launched a total of sixteen satellites for international customers besides thirteen Indian payloads........

  • congratulations to ISRO and to all my friends.....

    ISRO always delivers.......

Now ISRO can claim even greater share of world space launch market.....

This launch also shows that India has capability for MIRVs....

I hope our friends accross the borders are watching it.....

  • what a great achievement!!!

  • has this ever been done before i mean launching so many satelites at once

  • no this is a world record by India. Awesome!!!

  • Russia launched 16 satellites last year ,but with a lower payload weight(300kg). India's payload weight is 800kgs !!

  • Russia launched 16 satellites, yes, but not simultaneously, like India. This is a great achievement.
