@Santex993 its not a question of why the pilot was in country, it is why his higher-ups put him there. i understand your point of view, but in America, as im sure it is in your country, servicemen follow orders no matter what. the pilot may not have wanted to do what he had to do, but he had to, or run the risk of being court martialed. this man is considered a hero because of the hardships he had to endure evading the serb forces (nothing against it) and deliberately running into enemy fire.
