  • awesome singing. wretched staging.

  • Merveilleux!

    Quel age a-t-il?

  • Wow, I had not heard of his before. He sounds great!

  • Well, as this seems to be the Andrew Goodwin Fan Page, I'd better add myself to it. It has been a great pleasure to watch his voice develop, from the time he was a chorister at St Andrews Cathedral, Sydney.

  • I last sang with him earlier this year doing Mozart's Requiem with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra. I am a countertenor... My name is Mark.

As mentioned in my message... we used to sing together in high school.

  • Congratulaions! He was the best singer in Barcelona. I enjoy a lot his splendid voice. I guess to hear him with new performences. He has been a succesful in the Gran Teatre del Liceu with L'Arbore di Diana. I wish a great career to the young tenor.

  • were you at the performance? sooo lucky.

he is also very good in singing Lieder - when he sang the first few bars of Schubert's 'Traume' here for me in Australia, i just had tears in my eyes and with me many others in the audience1

  • Tererific! pity there is so much additional noise. It is rare that a non-Russian has been invited to sing this much charished role in Moscow and then is invited back for a second round of performances and then singing it in La Scala with the Bolshoi! He sang Kuda Kuda with piano here in Australia 4 times in 4 days and you can understand why he has been invited back to Moscow. The voice is so focused and yet free and colourful. The guy amazed me and all the audience!

  • I agree. Let's hope he is seen and heard more often.

  • Andrew will be singing Lensky at the Bolshoi again this July, then Bolshoi takes him to La Scala. Later he will sing at the Licee in Barcelona and back in Australia for a Festival in November singing a Bach Cantata and more. I hope to see and hear him again, either at the Festival or here where I live. Whatever criticism, if the Bolshoi invites him back for the second series of performances, then he is good enough for me and more. Good luck Andrew, you are fantastic and deserve the best!

  • He is fantastic.

  • Love his interpretation. Great voice. Russian isn't fantastic.

  • Большое ощупывание и heartfelt форма Andy представления

  • His name is Andrew Goodwin.

  • he's from Austrailia his name is Andrew gudvin(?) i dont' remeber i saw this 2 years ago on bolshoi theartre.. it was so good!

  • I was at this performance last year and I had to fly back to London the next day. You wont believe this, but the person sat next to me was Andrew Goodwin who sang Lensky. He was as surprised as i was when I told him I was at the performance. We've remained friends ever since and text and mail each other every so often. He's a very down to earth guy and a bundle of laughs. We had a pretty hairy descent to Heathrow and i told him one of the stewardesses was flying the plane he cracked up laughing.

  • really??? i can't belive~!!! i envy you!!

i'll go to Moscow again this year and then going to see this opera.

can you tell me his email? i just want to say how much he has beautiful voice~

  • I'll mail Andy first and see if he's ok about that. I'm sure you understand. Regards to you and to Moscow

  • Oh! the world is shrinking! I just spoke to Andrew for the first time at 22.00 hrs on Monday 11 May (Australia time). I am organizing 4 concerts for him and he will also sing Kuda Kuda!!!! Sunday 17 May I take him for a recital to Cooktown, where captain Cook landed in 1770. Check out his Traviata aria and St John's Passion.

Andrew just told me he actually he did not know until recently that these video's existed. Thank you all and I shall pass on your good comments!

    Greetings from Australia

  • it's odd to think that I was actually at this performance. but please tell Andrew that I did not take the footage ha ha. My phone aint that clecer. Slainte Herman

  • Andrew is pretty amazing, no? I had the pleasure of going to high school with him and get to sing with him when he is in Australia.

  • He has a terrific voice and his Russian is perfect. Great!

  • He has lived in Russia for quite a while and his lovely wife is Russian (so he gets plenty of practice).

  • interesting, I didn't know that.

  • i don't know what is that ? solzburhgh festifale ,,or what but guy sinig in the best of Russian tradition ..God bless him ..And what is his name ???
