As heavy on mountain lab playing red team I got a 50:1 kill to death ratio without a medic using the tomislav. I can't explain how. It was a 20 man server and I havent been able to replicate it to this day. Gates opened and I devastated.

I'm sorry but KGB's are terrible considering how you should use your meatshredding Tomislav (or any of the other miniguns) at close range, so you will rarely get the crit boost. Also, if you insist on using KBG, use the shotgun for crits instead.

Best option is to take either Fists of Steel (close the gap) or GRU (get quicker into the action)

the reason that the gloves of running urgently are truly useful is that a medics ubercharge builds faster on someone who is taking or has taken damage, so when the medic is healing a heavy with the gloves out, in a lull or during travel time, their ubercharge builds much faster.

I disagree about the Ammo Hog, a proper Pyro will eat up slightly more Ammo that the Heavy when put to side by side comparison using all abilities (air blast). The other side to this is that in one life, a Heavy definately beats the Pyro due to the high health.
