I dig the movie and this scene all except that it doesn't play the whole song from the beginning because the start is so kick ass. Can't find it on YouTube anymore because of bullshit.
The apex of Swinging London, before it became too 'pop' - movie or not, most everyone is frozen to the spot, the implication being they're all stoned and/or tripping out of their skulls
The rights to song lyrics for a motion picture were apparently more complicated than a simple record album and since the Yarbirds didn't actually write the Train' Kept a Rollin', they re-wrote the lyrics and kept the backing the backing music.
That riff, which I don't know how much credit to dole out to between Bradshaw, Burnette and the Yardbirds, is one of the best rock riffs ever.
@mrbooties no, the director originally wanted the Who, but instead got the Yardbirds. He wanted somebody to smash a guitar in the scene (guitar smashing was started by Pete Townsend, or rather he was recognized as the man who started it), which Jeff Beck was really apprehensive about because he didn't like the idea of laying waste to a guitar.

In those days, it was cool to dress like Prince William.. that's my only criticism.

It's a clip from a film not a gig !! But you will notice Keith Relf's tobacco tar stained
hands ( both ) He must have been one hell of a smoker !! But it was an electric shock that stopped his heart - sadly .
