  • When I see things like this, I can't imagine how people don't believe in God.

  • you mean thats earth 31 million miles ago

  • Fake...How come the sattelite is not effected by the moon gravity?? nice 3d max work!

  • thee moooon....

  • are you sure it's not a space station?

  • its the moon !!!

  • what about it?

  • awesome

  • SUPERWoW!

  • Isn't it a probe, not a satellite?

  • all if not most probe's have video caption devices for study purposes.

  • No, I mean, a satellite must orbit something to be considered a satellite. Deep Impact was a probe.

  • yeah that is true it is called a satellite. and im sorry i thought i was replying to one of the other comments on here before lol

  • Shit, he caught me with my eyes closed!

    Again!

  • 0:16 what is that?

  • The Moon

  • moon

  • If I'd known, I would have fixed my hair.

  • Sarah Palin says she can see Russia!

  • I can see my house from here!

  • :)))))))

  • It's BEAUTIFUL

  • very beautiful!

  • Hold on there my home, my planet.

  • it was on my birthday

  • This must be zoomed in quite a bit, from 31 million miles away to the naked eye it would look much like venus does to us here on Earth I would think.

  • I f**king love you, Nasa.

  • why is the moon moving so fast? doesn't it revolve around the earth once a month?!? that quarter turn we see in the vid is only over a period of a few hours. someone please explain, NASA, I am looking your way :)

  • well, the moon isn't making a quarter turn in this video. it's more like a 1/100th turn. the distance moon-earth is about 30 times the diameter of the earth and thus the video shows only a small part of the moon's trajectory.

  • You're mistaken. It revolves around the Earth about once a day, and it "wobbles" (creating the phases) once a month.

  • Nevermind. I'm mistaken. I was thinking of something else.

  • The video is sped up quite a bit. Not sure why. But it is.

  • These are many hundreds of 15 minute intervals taken. So, every 15 minutes it would take a picture for a very long time over and over again. Then later they put them together to make this movie. That's the real reason.

  • Look, come over here with some solid proof, THEN try shoving your shaky science down our throats.

  • STFU dumbass. Why would it be hidden from us. Youre just stupid.

  • @yfrimer It seems to move so fast because the probe taking teh picture is allso moving. The Mon being in the foreground crosses the field of view faster.

  • @yfrimer the moon is moving with the earth as it rotates every day, and moves away slowly to complete a 360 turn around the earth once a month.

  • @yfrimer Thats no moon, its a space station...

  • @apewaxfilms death star

  • The moon seen here seems so dim compared to the way it looks from earth. The earth must be so much more reflective it makes the moon appear cinder-like in comparison.

  • why can't you see the moon pass around the other side just before it goes behind the earth?

  • now that is what i call aerial photography!

  • @yfrimer dude you make the US the country it is today. keep up the good work.

  • just an amazing video
