Lowering the standards of basketball? What about lowering the standards of woman?? Are woman really that desperate for attention that they are willing to play topless basketball & hurt themselves?! BOOBS ARE NOT FEATHER WEIGHT... & yes, even implants do weigh a woman down the bigger they are... This can't be healthy.
Basketball isnt hard to learn... whats hard to learn is the rules and plays so ccalm down people. Not like you are gonna make a difference in the game anyway
they should be charged with murder, and people in america wouldnt be so hung up on boobs if they would stop letting the puritans censor them, I mean europe and asia dont censor so much and they dont have higher crime cause of it.
The topless thing is dumb.. it's just another stupid thing for people to sink into. The Police beating the man until he died is insane, I'd have to see what happened. If they guy hugged this woman and wouldn't let her go etc? It would still be too extreme to kill someone over, but self defense would of been okay. They killed him though, and now people want these police made an example of so it'll never happen again, understandably so. It really depends on the mentality of these police officers
Great video as always, Leroy. I especially enjoyed this one.
First story: That's just wrong; a major step backwards for society.
Second story: I hope this makes people realize just how lucky we are to live in North America. A lot of people complained of police brutality during the G20 riots and protests in Toronto a couple years back. But if they would take a look at what happens in some second and third world nations, they would come to know what real police brutality is.
@lazylank I find it funny that you're comparing police brutality between two nations. It's the same brutality that occurs in all countries. The only reason why it is so noticeable is because of the size of Grenada and the laws of Grenada which are rarely revised (unfortunately, offering a bit more immunity to the police).
So yeah... in conclusion, the police brutality is pretty much the same damn thing... just appears worse because one was made more public.
@Arcantropolo I disagree. The so called police brutality that occurs is no where near as bad as places like Brazil, Thailand, and as we saw recently, Libya and Egypt, etc.
My point is not to say that police brutality does not occur here, but that it is so much more rare here, and even when it does occur it is usually less severe. Furthermore, my arguement was also to point out that, in general, we have very skewed veiws on such brutality. For example, when people cry foul against police ...
@lazylank ... who beat a suspect that resisting arrest, they do so seemingly unaware of why the police (must) take such actions. The police officers don't know if the suspect has a hidden weapon that they may use, endangering the officers and the public at large. That is what I don't like about the public over here. They have no sense of perspective.
@Arcantropolo Where do you see it being covered up? If people are murdered, that is going to make the news. There is always an investigation when someone dies in police custody, or because of police actions.
@lazylank Remember, as I mentioned before, America is a larger country in both population and geographic size, so news of such are usually confined within their states, unlike Grenada which is an island of small size and population (even smaller than US states), word tends to travel faster. There is no 'hiding' your business in a small Caribbean island. I'm not saying investigations do not occur... It just isn't made publicly worldwide.
@Arcantropolo Well, I wasn't talking specifically about the U.S. or Grenada, as I never mentioned them. Perhaps you should reread what I said in my first comment. Carefully.
@lazylank I was merely using the two nations as an example to how the media works as a deciding factor in the perspective of the public on the matter.
Yet you still avoid the point I am making. Perhaps when next I'm watchi BBC or CNN I'll see another hate crime carried out by the police... but that'll be unlikely unless it's from a second world country or third world.
im a grenadian and they are saying that the 5 police officers being charged cant be charged with murder becaz oscar didnt die in the custody of the police he die in the hospital so they cant charge them with murder but since they added in his death they can be charged with manslaughter
@jonnieplex That's messed up. I know the family is pushing for murder. We'll just have to wait for the outcome. Maybe the courts will rule in their favor
Man, I always knew Rodman was a strange dude, but this is a new strange. I agree, this is just going to lower the look on the NBA and sports as a whole for credibility. As if sports players didn't have a bad enough image already. Geez.
For the poor dude getting killed for that, I feel bad for him. I know police are made to be on the lookout for attackers, and such, but if he wasn't showing anykind of aggressiveness, or hostility, they should of seen that. Once they knew he made a mistake...
idk about the topless basketball... I mean if i wanted to see boobs then i'd go to the strip club, but i don't. And justice does need to be brought to the police that abused Barthalemew
@LostprophetsLover314 Although I agree it's stupid it's not degrading to women they chose that life and they chose to do that it only makes those people themselves look stupid.
Again, another amazing video leroy. There is no point in topless basket ball. Its just people trying to make money in the wrong way. We all have to make money, just do so with respect, the right way. Peace.
Grenadian police def need to be charged and convicted for murder. Police are supposed to serve and protect. If the police felt this female office was being raped or harassed the person in question should have been subdued with a taser and be allowed to clear up the matter himself.
I really hate Caribbean police...they are power crazy. This story makes me disgusted and sad

1) It isn't made publicly by the media, as it usually isn't that big of a deal compared to small Caribbean Islands.
2) Let's be honest.. they're just better at covering it up in America.
