Qb for qb, this was not an even trade until the draft picks got involved. Cutlers passer rating was 86 last year (3rd in the league btw) Orton was like a 76 i believe. So yes, he throws too many INT's......this year. They didnt expect to go to the promised land right away. its called rebuilding. they do it in that sport called football, that i know nothing about.

Cutler didn't get the wins in Denver because their defense was horrid. He was 13-1 as a starter when Denver held their opponents under 21 points. Chicago's defense makes a living in the past 5 years of doing that.
All Chicago needed was a real playmaker on offense. Along with future pro bowler Matt Forte at running back, Hester and Olsen in the receiving corps (need more here tho) and improvements on the O-line, they are getting the balance they needed on offense.

Kyle Orton sucks a massive Cock. I wouldn't throw INTs either if all I did was throw to the RB and TE. His "record" is padded and he fucking sucks. He can't sustain drives and stares down his receivers. He had a 0.0 QB rating for an entire half against the Eagles. A lot of bronco fans will be disappointed with ortons performance. Orton had a very good running back that could catch out of the back field. Most of orton's passing yards were to the running back so ortons numbers are artificially inflated. Also he never could a pass beyond 20 yards. Youre right about the record passes w/o int, but thats because he only threw 2 yard bombs to his RB and TE. You can make the argument that he didnt have WRs but even when he did, he still wasnt a playmaker.
Also, Orton has absolutely zero mobility and he has the horrible habit of staring down his WRs. That led to the majority of his ints during the second half of last season. Now im not gonna say he is the worst qb in the league, but if i had to rate him (P.Manning being 10) I would rate him a 5 and cutler an 8.
To be honest I couldnt care less about your opinion..we have several quarterbacks we are considering, Orton may very well end up as a backup. I trust Josh Mcdaniels opinion more then yours, QB's is his specialty and he has SB's under his belt.

well what i mean by good sometimes is jay is a good quarterback and hes a winner, sometimes hes godly and sometimes he cant hit a receiver for anything. broncos were 2nd in overall yards, but 16th in points. Doesnt add up to me you know. yea our defense was terrible but he threw some picks at some bad times and also couldnt find the end zone at some bad times, but he passed for a lot of yards and put up a decent amount of points. hes good just not elite, at least not yet.
Yeah hes either an elite or close to being and elite, he a very good QB and hes still young so he will make some mistakes he should be able to grow he can only get better, as for Orton he doesn't suck hes about average he can get better but he's not used to throwing a lot IF your running game breaks down he makes few mistakes but doesn't make a whole lot of plays and his accuracy downfield was horrible to be honest but hes a nice short yardage passer just not the type to score a lot of points
What i realized about Cutler is... he has a great arm and athletic ability and he is CLOSE to being very clutch, his 3rd down percentage is better than most. His arm is very strong and gives him the ability to make passes into tight coverage, yet he may be too confident in that area, which is where some of his picks come from. Oddly I dont recall last season him throwing many picks into tight coverage, most were just bad passes. He is definitely going to be good, but not for sure a great.
Hes still young so he has nowhere else to go but up same with the bears when we have a D that can back him up e doesnt have to pass as much since our backs are healthier and we have great TEs and fast WRs he will be better he might have growing pains from our system but since he don't have to throw here as much as he did in denver he will be better because of it.
As for that I highly doubt that we get him we have nothing else to get for him and personally we can live with the guys we have now and also i dont want a guy who was arrested about 13 times too much of a risk

First of all, we had the 28th best defense in the league, it's surprising we made it as far as we did on offense alone, and that offense was greatly affected by the fact that we had lost so many HBs to the point where we had to resort to Tatum Bell. Qb for qb, this was not an even trade until the draft picks got involved. Cutlers passer rating was 86 last year (3rd in the league btw) Orton was like a 76 i believe. So yes, he throws too many INT's......this year. They didnt expect to go to the promised land right away. its called rebuilding. they do it in that sport called football, that i know nothing about.

EXACTLY. The problem was the "talent" evaluation by that idiot Turner. He said the offensive line was 'great' in preseason, they thought Pace was a great solution, he thought Bennett wasn't "ready" for the NFL in his rookie year and he didn't think DA was good enough.

Also, you have Omiyale in the mix. Really, the biggest hole is Garza who is spotty at best. They ran the 2 TE set last year effectively with Olsen and Clark, Forte is solid as a rusher and receiver. Basically, you need a solid FA, rookie and improved Earl Bennett at WR

Highly doubtful.
Cutler didn't get the wins in Denver because their defense was horrid. He was 13-1 as a starter when Denver held their opponents under 21 points. Chicago's defense makes a living in the past 5 years of doing that.
All Chicago needed was a real playmaker on offense. Along with future pro bowler Matt Forte at running back, Hester and Olsen in the receiving corps (need more here tho) and improvements on the O-line, they are getting the balance they needed on offense.

A lot of bronco fans will be disappointed with ortons performance. Orton had a very good running back that could catch out of the back field. Most of orton's passing yards were to the running back so ortons numbers are artificially inflated. Also he never could a pass beyond 20 yards. Youre right about the record passes w/o int, but thats because he only threw 2 yard bombs to his RB and TE. You can make the argument that he didnt have WRs but even when he did, he still wasnt a playmaker.

Also, Orton has absolutely zero mobility and he has the horrible habit of staring down his WRs. That led to the majority of his ints during the second half of last season. Now im not gonna say he is the worst qb in the league, but if i had to rate him (P.Manning being 10) I would rate him a 5 and cutler an 8.

To be honest I couldnt care less about your opinion..we have several quarterbacks we are considering, Orton may very well end up as a backup. I trust Josh Mcdaniels opinion more then yours, QB's is his specialty and he has SB's under his belt.

to be honest the college level doesn't mean anything and Orton wasn't counted on to throw for over 30 times a game thats because we have a good running back and the bears are always known for a smashmouth football team we are a run first team so Orton didnt make many costly mistakes because he was a safe QB not a playmaking one like Cutler, For Cutler he might not have to throw as much as he did in denver to win he got a reliable back and mabe the best TE tandem and ST in the league... cont

True but to be honest he did backup some good QBs like carson palmer and tom brady even though i hate tom brady lol, I dont think that orton is that guy hes not a bad QB just a game manager and i think cassel was used to the pats system since he was there for a couple of years he can be good at KC but I think hes a one year wonder and even though people thought that pats would be fine even with cassel before he put up nice numbers, if orton somehow gets that good hope your D can help.

Cutler doesn't hava as much pressure to succeed in our system as he did when he has to score about 30 pts a game just to have a chance with Denvers horrible D, And Qbs make the WRs Royal was a rookie he didnt just come in and became a elite WR Cutler made him and B-marsh who is very good hes not really a guy like moss, or steve smith, or torry holt royal and B-marsh's numbers will drop i guarantee that.

well what i mean by good sometimes is jay is a good quarterback and hes a winner, sometimes hes godly and sometimes he cant hit a receiver for anything. broncos were 2nd in overall yards, but 16th in points. Doesnt add up to me you know. yea our defense was terrible but he threw some picks at some bad times and also couldnt find the end zone at some bad times, but he passed for a lot of yards and put up a decent amount of points. hes good just not elite, at least not yet.

Yeah hes either an elite or close to being and elite, he a very good QB and hes still young so he will make some mistakes he should be able to grow he can only get better, as for Orton he doesn't suck hes about average he can get better but he's not used to throwing a lot IF your running game breaks down he makes few mistakes but doesn't make a whole lot of plays and his accuracy downfield was horrible to be honest but hes a nice short yardage passer just not the type to score a lot of points

What i realized about Cutler is... he has a great arm and athletic ability and he is CLOSE to being very clutch, his 3rd down percentage is better than most. His arm is very strong and gives him the ability to make passes into tight coverage, yet he may be too confident in that area, which is where some of his picks come from. Oddly I dont recall last season him throwing many picks into tight coverage, most were just bad passes. He is definitely going to be good, but not for sure a great.

Hes still young so he has nowhere else to go but up same with the bears when we have a D that can back him up e doesnt have to pass as much since our backs are healthier and we have great TEs and fast WRs he will be better he might have growing pains from our system but since he don't have to throw here as much as he did in denver he will be better because of it.

its funny how mel kiper called jay cutler overhyped. kiper was all over leinart's dick during the draft. this was only his 2nd year starting. and you have to give his 1st full year an excuse. dude was a diabetic and didn't know it. they went 7-9 this year but they had no defense. so without cutler they would've been up there with detroit for the top pick in the draft. and notice how when steve young a hall of fame QB talks kiper doesn't say shit. kiper probably never played a down of football.

Broncos offense is dominating. Their defense lacked last season a lot. That's why we didn't make the playoffs. I believe they have a good chance at going all the way this year.

Also sums up the fact that you may be under the age of 7. First of all, we had the 28th best defense in the league, it's surprising we made it as far as we did on offense alone, and that offense was greatly affected by the fact that we had lost so many HBs to the point where we had to resort to Tatum Bell. Next season we'll have Dawkins, and hopefully Cushing, as well as our offense. Good luck.
