I don't think that Darkside Chronicles is a true remake. Just a retelling... and come on it's a rail shooter... we need a TRUE SURVIVAL HORROR, but improved to these days technical demands. A true remake which not raping the original. The same need for 3.

No offence, but I and alot of other people want a "next gen" remake of RE2. Not just a few reused models and textures from Outbreak, ported into an "on the rails" shooter that screws around with the events of the plot and removes most of the suspense.

Nelonen pettymys? Tuota en kuulekaan usein RE-faneilta. Minusta se oli uskomattoman hyvä ja yksi parhaista RE:istä, ainakin kontrollien ja toiminnan osalta. Mikä siinä sinusta oli huonoa?

Itse kuulen tuon faneilta tosi usein.

No olihan se siis hyvä mutta ei vedä vertoja aiemmille. Ensinnäkin vitutti se liiallien räiskintä, vaikka kauhuakin oli niin en pitäny tosta over the shoulder viewistä että se tuodaan ressoihin. Juonesta ei nyt tarvitse puhuakkaan. Olisi ollut mielummin vaikka joku RE: Leon's Scenario.

Itseänikin kyllä tuo liiallinen räiskintä vähän häiritsi, ja kyllä noita vaihtuvia jännittäviä kuvakulmia minäkin kaipaan, vaikka se tekniikka minusta olikin noissa vanhoissa ressoissa joskus vähän ärsyttävää. Tunnelma tosiaan ei ollut enää vanhojen pelien tasolla, mutta muuten pelaaminen oli sen verran nautinnollista, että en niinkään tyylin vaihtumisesta välittänyt.

Oletko muuten RE: Code Veronica X:ää pelannut?

Kyllä olen, on ihan loistava peli. Siinä on sentään säilytetty tunnelma ja ne piirteet mitkä tekee pelistä aidon ressan. Ja Chriskin on ihan noormaali siinä vielä, eikä mikään kehonrakentaja toisin kuin vitosessa.
