What am I donig wrong? I've built a house, used the apartment doors, put som furniture in the apartments but it's still a regular house! what is the code supposed to do? it just said error to me :/ but still... what am I doing wrong!?

ther is must be somthing you forgot or doing wrong.

did you put the apartment doors on the right way it shuold?

the code supposed to change your resedential lot to an apratment lot while in building mode or buying mode.

can you tell me about this "error" i would be more then happier to help you.

Don't worry, I've figured it out :) I wrote the code like this: ChangeLotZoning ApartmentBase and it didn't work. But when I wrote the code like this: ChangeLotZoning apartmentbase it was no problem anymore... I guess the details is important :p but thanks for your help anyway!

hey um i forgot the cheat so the furniture in the apartment doesnt disapear once i move a family into the apartment? and what do i have to do so the cheat works cuz i remember i did that cheat once but it didnt work. thanks!

well i dont know how you used to do it, but i know how can you buy the apartment with all the furniture.

you just simply tipe the cheat "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" (without the") and then when you want to rent an apartent you click on the apratmnet's door while holding shift, and there will be an option "buy with furniture" choose it and the furniture wont disapear.

Normally, just don't put much in the apartments, besides a bathroom and some appliances for the kitchen. It would be a waste of time because once you select your apartment, all the furniture disappears, since CPU's will move into the empty ones.

Yes, But don't the CPU's use the appliances you give them when you biuld the apartment? Also, how to you fix an apartment (walls) that you have moved into?

Well, yeah, if you go visit them, the appliances will be there, but regardless if you don't put anything in it, a CPU will still move into it, they just won't have anything. When you move into an apt. you lose the "right" to fix those things. That's why you have to make sure when you're building it, you have to be VERY careful.

Ya, but if you vist them it would be boring, also there is a "cheat" so you can edit wile in a apartment or dorm.

yes there is......

boolprop aptsublotspecifictoolsdisabled [true/false] if you will write false it will enable you to build outside your apartment.

well yea lots of apartments are coming with the game but if you are intrested to build your own apartment you will have to build it with cheats because there isn't any option to build an apartment in the base game.

i've a problem with the cheat: I type in the cheat, press enter, save the lot and go back to the neighboorhood. but the lot ISN't a Appartment.

apartment have other sims living,which u don't control.

My sim live in a apartment and one day one of the sim(best friend,not even a crush) from the same appartment suddenly kiss her!Ever since they became a couple.

I didn't order him to do this to my sim,isn't it cool?The sim aparment is very nice,u should have it!!The Best!!

the diffrence between an apartment and a house is in an apartment you have a bunch of other sims (NPC) as neighbors instead of just one family living in the same house

With an apartment, you pay rent every week based on how large the apartment is. With a house, you pay bills every week and you OWN it. With the apartments, if something goes wrong or breaks, the landlord with fix it.

If you want to build an apartment youll need to change the lot.
