Just finished watching all 9 of these segments and I can't believe what a great life he lived. He accomplished more than not only most people could ever dream of but of multiple people combined. There isn't a selfish bone in his body and he truly loved his work. What a great life's story he just shared with us all.
One of the things I like about Fred is his humility. He talks about himself objectively and without any pretense and speaks much more highly of other people. Contrast that with what you see on the award shows on TV or on a DVD commentary. It seems now more than ever that celebrities are nothing but a bunch of ostentatious and self-righteous gasbags who only care about the awards they receive and patronize their audience.
i met Mr. mcfeely and he was more amazing in person then any of us could have imagined! we were in colege and the only group of colege kids in line with a bunch of parents...the people from the local tv stations were saying dont cause trouble! we were saying we just want to meet mr mcfeely! he was amazing, he said when he saw us "the graduates of the neighborhood! and took individual pictures with all of us and then took group photos, it's not a show but a way of life
I think this man is underestimated, underrated and kinda brushed aside. The people that society has made famous are not like this man. So many different films and books have been made of famous people who are not even half of what this man is. I wish they would make a film about him.

I was kinda disappointed that they asked him to stop putting his hands on his face... He's giving his time to make this lengthy documentary, he should be allowed to be as comfortable as he wishes......
@mikeakaspike I think, since this is designed as a record for posterity, they want to be certain that every word is as clear as it can possibly be, so that 200 years from now, there's no confusion as to exactly the words he said. I think they were pretty polite about it.
to my dedication for a long periods of time tell Mr. Rogers that was my entire life time it's my pleasure that it was on air was in extermine my my whole with Mr. Rogers
I love his answer to the fame question. It's obvious fame has had no effect on his life. They say being rich doesn't change a person, it just unmasks them. I think the same can be said for fame really. Just look at Johnny Cash, Eastwood etc. They are loved because they are themselves.
I grew up watching Mr. Rogers. I just hope that future generations will get the chance to know him even though he is no longer with us. He will never never be forgotten. Thankyou Fred Rogers, Rest In Peace.
