I feel it hard to agree with Ghamdi here. If Allah's plan was to turn a kid into a "Mussavir" "Shaer" "Adeeb" then WHO can stop the kid from becoming one? What difference would it make if you put the kid into a Maddrassa, or English medium School, or Harvard University or no school at all? Can ANYONE change Allah's plan?? No Mr Ghamdi, u got it wrong here.

Also, how can a kid acquire ALL the "Broad based" education that connects him with the society in ONLY 1st 12 yrs of his life ??

I hold a lot of respect to both scholars but personally believe that Mr Ghamdi has gone a little off the track here, I firmly believe that a school set up is the BEST if true deeni taleem that teaches the lesson of tolerance and instills wisdom, plus the modern scientific and artistic education is rendered to our kids. A Madrassa with deeni taleem and regular school curriculum is better than just plane modern day English medium schools.

The difference between the two is insurmountable, Mufti is a living fossil, oblivious to the world around him. Ghamdi is a scholar who does not know how to talk to troglodytes. Mufti has to educate himself first to understand the needs of today to earn a living. A child should be prepared to earn a living first so that he/she can support a life. Muslims were thrown into dungeons some 250 years ago with bread thrown in. It is a cosy living. Mufti wants to keep it, Ghamdi wants to reform.

My question from Mufti Muhammed Naeem... you are talking pointing out conventional institution.... that if a child studies there he/she can never become an Aalim... what do you think about the islamic madarassas... if a student studies in there... can he become a sceintist, a medical doctor or an engineer???? think about it... both type of institutions need some serious restructuring...

I have not seen Aalim like Janab Ghamidi.He is the only person who the even non believers would like to listen.He is very knowledgeable his vision is well beyond the people with he has to sit with.I think he is before time in Pakistani culture.Pakistan is well clutched by Jahil molvis and this is very natural with the level of education in Pakistan.

Jamiabinoria Brother has croped and edited the full vedio of this programme. It was of 5 parts. Any one can see the whole program by searching " javed ahmed ghamidi madrassah system". I dont know why respected jamia binoria felt the need to edit the whole vedio and uploaded only the parts in which mufti sb "performed" good.

Ghamdi should seek in the history and learn which is the real education system and which is prevailing for centuries and which one is founded by British for preparing people for their slavery and especially for the subcontinent. We should prevail to the real education system and after getting the basic Islamic education every Muslim should be allowed to either serve Islam by going for getting complete Islamic education and become Ulama or become engineers and doctors. This is done in Madaris

, engineers and scientists and deliver the same lectures to them to go for Ummomi Education first and then go for Dunya. Ghamdi here saying that there is Ummomi Education till 8th is totally nonsense. First there is no school where there is complete Islamic Environment neither is any school in the country where with 6 subjects of Dunyawi Education there are 6 subjects fo Islamic Education from the start or even 3:3 distribution.

So in the real sense if you want your child to go for Common (Ummoomi Education) it is better to go for those Madaaris where Dunyawi education is also available to get or compulsory to acquire. These Madaris are actually the places of Ummomi Education. It is very easy for a person with some common sense to understand that why Ghamdi like people are always giving lectures to people who send their children for getting Islamic Education? why don't they arrange a program for doctors, .......contd...

There are two points here. One is "Environment" which is totally different in both the education systems and the second is "Education" which is also different in both the systems. If you want to go for Islamic Education you can go to Madaaris-e-Diniya and if you want your child to go for Dunya you can go for Schools. Now the point is that most of the madaris(Islamic) have also Dunyawi education till Matric or FSc but no school have education of Ilm-e-Hadees, Quran, Tafseer, Sunnah ...contd...
