I think it's you thats in denial that you're getting angry over a video. It's not the best car in the world, so where you got that from is beyond me. In this video everytime the GTR gets close, he's letting go of the accelerator trying not to knock off the guy on the bike. It's a known fact cars handle better..

    You wanna know a bike that acelerates faster than a F1 car? Yes, an electric bike does 0 to 100 km/h in 1 second (or 0 to 60mph). I didn't believe till I saw it. Anyway is not race legal or anything like that, but must be fastest acelerating vehicle I know. Killacycle. But its a bit stupid to compare a 1.000.000 a race F1 car to a 10.000 bucks bike. With 900.000 bucks you could a freaking space rocket and win the race no? The Bike won this one, swallow it and move on. Cars win other.

  • Bikes cannot accelerate (or at least ordinary stock street bikes) as fast as an F1 car, but the difference isn't by much, especially when you consider 230 hp race bikes that weigh 350 lbs.

  • Despite all of the misinformation on youtube, cars don't really corner faster than bikes (except F1 open wheel race cars, but those arent really cars). Cars do however brake MUCH faster than bikes do, because a motorcycle only has a tiny wheel base and will flip over if you grab too much brake. Bikes have the acceleration of an F1 race car, which is why they have faster lap times than ALL production vehicles in existence.

  • @toniiii9 Thing is 5th Gear even done a test between a F1 Racing Car VS Moto GP Bike VS Racing Boat. Theres no possible way a bike can match the accelaration of an F1 car. The guys also put new sticker tires aswell as lengthend the wheel base a few milli-metres to help improve the grip and provent the front end from lifting. Lets say the GP lost asoon as they left the start line. LOL

  • @MasonTrance It wasn't a MotoGp bike. It was a modded production superbike with British superbike champion. Where did you see lengthening wheelbase and stickier tyres?

    Look up Ricky Gadson on YouTube and you will see stock Kawasakis have run low 9's and slightly modded, high 8's. MotoGp does indeed have equal or superior acceleration to F1. That is why on some circuits the bikes enter a straight slower but end up with a higher top speed. Of course F1 kills bikes under brakes and through turns.

  • @droceretik yes Motogp bikes have better acceleration then F1 cars here you are absolutely spot on @ EVERY circiut you compare them the bikes enter the start of the straight @ 50-60kph less and the formula 1 car and they have 300meter more to accelerate since it`s insane brakes but the bikes has 20-30kph more top speed @ the end of the straight.. @ Catalunya track F1 cars brake @ 1000meters and Motogp bike @ 650 meters... but this is NO BSB bike it got headlight and mirror and 180bhp is STOCK...

  • @rottepung666 The R35 sure is an amazing piece of engineering but it is heavy and has so many electronic gizmos that take away the need for the driver to do much except steer, accelerate and brake. If I bought one I think I would become bored. Most drivers could extract mid 11 second passes. It lacks the visceral stimulation compared to bikes and the skills needed and rewards from getting it right. IMO R35 = 70% car, 30% driver. Bike = 70% rider 30% bike. Driven an R35, no but read many tests.

  • @droceretik and what i wanted to say is.. i feel good about gizmos on the streets because they can save you if your made a mistake.. i am a more on a track guy now.. i used to ride my Gsx-R 1000 K5 with 235bhp 202rwhp 132rwNM and 187.5kg fully fueled on the streets and that is a monster to have without TC so it have take my head off many times almost got me quitting bike riding..LOL

  • The 2010 GT-R has 485bhp rather than the 530bhp Aprilla stated. 530bhp is only produced from the 2012 GT-R as is the $89,950 price they quoted.

  • It sounds like a lot of you don't even ride. Cars can corner and brake way harder than bikes (generally speaking). It's pretty damn impressive that this bike can do what it did against such an awesome car. And stop bitching about the APRC, that can all be toggled off and is amazing tech. By your logic the GRT should have a 4 speed stick shift with a standard gearbox, RWD, and an open dif. Don't be fucking stupid. Aprilia gets my vote for this one.

  • @darwin604 Some drivers of some cars can brake and corner harder than some riders on some bikes. Generally speaking high performance cars such as the Porsche GT3, BMW M3 and Ferrari F430 can brake deeper and have higher corner speed at low and medium speeds ( 30 - 70 mph) but are similar at high speed cornering. High performance cars like the aformentioned are better at directional changes in a series of bends than bikes but bikes win on witches hat tests. "Way harder"....rubbish. F1 yeh sure.

  • @droceretik Nothing hidden about my agenda, but I do have an axe to grind. I've owned an Aprilia for 7 years, wthout a doubt the worst bike I've ever owned and Aprilia has the worst customer support of any company I've dealt with. The fact that I traded in a Ducati for the POS I'm cursed with now haunts me daily. And yes I was going to trade in the Aprilia last week (the $2700.- repair bill this spring was the last straw), but it broke down on the way to the Yamaha dealership. True story.

  • @TheOKTerrificable A bad bike is worse than a bad car as at least you can sit in a broken down car and listen to the radio while the tow truck arrives. However, one bike out of tens of thousands does not make a valid sample. Every bike and every car I've owned has some faults. I've owned 2 Suzuki & 3 Honda bikes, 4 Ford, 1 Honda, 1 GM, 1 Nissan and 1 Hillman car. The Hillman was a POS. That's why the manufacturer went out of business. 1 Thai built Honda bike was poorly built but I keep it going.

  • @droceretik True dat. But what's bad about Aprilia is the support. After Piaggio bought them out, they shut down the parts dept. for 6 months. It takes forever to get any type of part, but during that time NOTHING went out. And the dealership near me won't work on my bike because I didn't buy it there. I can't think of any other brand of bike that puts up with that kind of crap. Aprilia sucks.

  • Because I know the rider on the bike and the driver of the car I can set the record straight...the car was driven by an instructor at this track so I am sure he knows the right lines. The individual time tests-each on the course independently- put the Aprilia over 6 seconds ahead of the Nissan....I think that does it for now.

  • Can the bike hold 4 people? does it have a huge boot? Can it be driven in all weathers at insanely fast speeds? NO but the GT-R can. My mum's partner has one and they are great!!

    It isn't designed to do the things you're asking so those things are not negative aspects with regard to a motorcycle.

    Bikes are generally faster than cars on straights. Cars, or at least performance cars are generally faster than bikes in the turns

    An idiot can drive a car. Even to a certain degree of speed but a bike takes loads more skill even just to ride safe.

    However on a day to day basis i love my car. Makes life so easier. All you want is a safe, reliable, comfy car (with a bit of poke) so you can spend more of fettling your bike!!

  • @lLogiKGamingl Well saying a car can do both is failing to mention that it would take a hell of a car with a hell of a price to have the same fun you can get with the average sports bike at a fraction of the cost. And most cars that could achieve that level of performance and fun aren't exactly practical for every day use either. To get the same performance from a car, you need to spend 3 to 4 times as much as you would for the bike. Here's an idea. Have a shitty car and an awesome bike :)

  • @droceretik Just because Michael Schumacher drives Formula one cars for a living, doesn't mean he's not just like any normal human being to ride bikes aswell. Simple fact not everyone can drive the GTR quick, the only feature on the car which is easy to use is the dual clutch transmission. Its neither AWD or RWD but uses best of both systems and looses 25 % drivetrain loss to a normal 35% loss AWD system. Thats what the electronics are for not to drive for you.

He sees the great skill, satisfaction and excitement that comes with riding high performance motorcycles. He doesn't care about bang for buck because he could own any super-car he wants. Other F1 drivers are also bike fans such as Nick Heidfeld, Kimi Raikkonen, Sebastian Vettel, Ayrton Senna, David Coulthard, Emerson Fittipaldi, Jacky Ickx, Mika Hakkinen and Montoya.

  • @TheChurchofElevation Not on a short curved track. The car would slide out and never get up speed. This track is designed for cars. Put that car on a go-kart track and it would slide off the track. Better yet, let me design a couple of severe s curves and the car couldn't keep up with a scooter.

  • The GTR could have saved 1s had he taken the right line at 1:15. Multiply that by 2, you have 2s. And maybe a few more seconds for all the lousy lines he took, he would have probably beaten that bike.

  • 1周0.9マイル=1.44kmのマッシュルームのようなコース­を2周(0:290:34)、見た感じタイトめのコーナーが6­か所、若干のアップダウンあり。

    アプリリアは、市販車だけど明らかなワークスチューンモデル。

    対するGT-Rは、どノーマルモデル。

    直線が少ないコースじゃ、タイムアタックでも2.5秒の差(アプ­リリア:1分10秒7,GT-R:1分13秒2)は出るでしょ。

    映像自体はアプリリアUSAのad(つまりCM)なので、速そう­に見えるものに編集されている『やらせ』なのはあたりまえ。結構­きれいな映像だから、それでよしとしましょうよ。

  • んー・・俺もバイク派だけど・・・外国メーカーの宣伝演出って 比較相手の知名度を逆手に取って自分の商品を売り込む手法が多い­よね^^; 対決の結果としては論理的に見ちゃうと 二輪と四輪では質量(重量)が違い過ぎますね。 コーナリング時の横Gに対する抵抗度合いの関係もあって 少なくとも動画内の演出では二輪が勝って当たり前でしょう。 負けたら笑われてしまいますよ。 GT-Rを擁護する訳じゃないですけど、公平な評価をするなら 首都高速の湾岸線やアクアライン等の直線が続くコースで勝負して­みると この動画とは全く逆のパターンで決着がつくでしょう。 (ドライバーの技量にもよる) ただゼロヨンでは、まだ二輪が優勢です。 注)車体に賭けている金額にもよる

  • GT-Rは都内の渋滞もサーキットでも走れるけど、RSV4 は都内の渋滞はおろか普通のちょっとした混んだ道も走れないよ。­ファンがガンガンまわってバッテリが心配になってしまうほど。

    ネタ映像だし2輪が4輪に速さで勝るステージはピンポイントでし­かないから、勝ち勝負ならこのコースレイアウトでもRSV4 が勝てるとは到底思えない。

  • 普通常識的に2輪のコーナリングスピードってのは4輪よりもはる­かに遅い。筑波や鈴鹿のラップタイムなんかを比較すりゃ一目瞭然­の話で、4輪の市販車の方がレース使用の2輪よりもはるかに速い­って現実がある。2輪を馬鹿にするわけじゃない、私は2輪も大好­きだ。でもこれは中低速コーナーメインのコースレイアウトで、4­輪は一度抜かれると、2輪相手では危ないし安全面を考えると抜き­用がない。突っ込み、コーナリングスピードの4輪と立ち上がり加­速の2輪ではいくら突っ込みで追いついても抜くラインがなければ­普段以上に減速せざるをえず、立ち上がりではいくらGT-Rでも­2輪には及ばない。うさぎと亀方式でバトルすれば、GT-R先行­の時にチギルだろうし、別々にタイムアタックしてもRの方がタイ­ム出るだろう。まぁ・・コースレイアウト的にどっこいかもしれな­いが・・。あ、重いしとか書いてる人もいるようだけど、コーナリ­ングスピードで4輪が2輪に負ける事はまずありませんよ^^

    サラッと嘘を織り交ぜちゃあいけません。市販車ベースの箱車のコ­ーナースピード、はるかに速いなんて無いですよ。

    どちらかレース参加してますか?

    筑波、鈴鹿も例外がフォーミュラマシンであって、箱車のラップタ­イムは拮抗しているか、市販車ベースのバイクに負けていますよ。

    タイムはWebで見れます。

  • @kutakan ええ?今はそうなんですか?昔ベストバイクか何かで読んだ記事に­よると、バイクのF3とかF1クラスでも市販の4輪よりもタイム­がはるかに劣ってた(確かその記事は筑波)のを見てかなりへ~~­!って思ってたんですが。今はと言うよりも単なる僕の記憶違いで­昔から拮抗してたんでしょうか?いや、でもその記事では結局コー­ナリングスピードによってバイクで車に勝つのは難しい的な締めだ­ったと思うんで記憶違いはおきにくい内容だったと思うんだけど;­;;でもまあ、事実を捻じ曲げてまで主張するつもりも理由もない­んで、現在がそうであるのなら(昔も???笑)、むしろご指摘感­謝します;;間違った認識を持つ人がいたらいけないですからね;­;(僕のように)20年ほど前の話しなんで、昔だと4輪のタイム­の方が速かったのかちょっとだけググッてみます;;ちなみに、元­レース関係大好きでメカニック志望だっただけで実際にレースやサ­ーキットランはやってないです。スペンサーとかマモラとか好きで­した!って、世代が違いますかね?ともかくご指摘どうも!
