Great job from your friends at Animal Rights Action Network (ARAN) in Ireland. Your protest is peaceful, professional and looks good whilst you serve the right message for everyone on the street who will listen. You'll certainly make a difference with this good approach and the animals need more of this type of activism.
yes!!! we have to be an activists, and we have to fight for their rights till death! magnanimus is the person who fight for a goal till death!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they need us, whe have to stop the slaughter!and the massacre!
I noticed a sign that read; COMPASSION FOR ALL. I wonder if that "ALL" includes newborn infants that are left to die in hospital linen closets? Beautiful litte baby humans that are slowly starved to death? Do you feel the same compassion for their ruthless torture? How about the babies that survive abortions but their limbs have been pulled from their bodies and they are born without arms or maybe a leg? Do you have the SAME compassion for them? Curious as to where you stand on THAT issue.
Yes!"COMPASSION FOR ALL" We believe no one has the right to inflict pain or kill any living being for all are sacred. Animals are defenseless like children, the difference is a child is protected by all sorts of laws which animals are brutally killed, mutilated, skinned alive and other unspeakable horrors, and there is no law to protect them. Also, there are zillion orgs caring for children worldwide. We're just contributing for a more humane world, not solve all its ills.
I'm very happy to hear that. I don't wear fur myself, and I do believe that the fur trade does exploit animals. I just want to be sure that the standards aren't lowered when it comes to humans. ALL are sacred, it's true. But it is also true that ALL are exploited and ruthlessly murdered. If we have no compassion for HUMAN life we certainly aren't going to convince anybody to have compassion on animal life. Shame on us.
hi there qlvz, just want to say that I am not only a spokesperson against animal cruelty but I am personally pro life. Just so you know, some of us do indeed have compassion for all living creatures :_)
qlvz, I believe in compassion for all but I have to tell you it's really annoying when we get these "do you believe in this or that" questions all the time. If you had an anti-abortion video or demo, I wouldn't run up to ask you what your feelings are on fur.
Neither would I ask you if you care about children starving in other parts of the world or why you aren't doing something to fight drug use in this country?
I would just listen to your message and not take a survey on your beliefs.
You will succeed in smashing the fur trade, it's only a matter of time.
It's beyond my comprehension how anyone --after being educated on the barbarity of the fur trade-- can then still choose to wear fur products. It shows just how despicable and incredibly selfish certain members of the human race can be.

Very, very happy to hear that! We need "blanket compassion" and by that I mean it must cover every helpless creature.
