yes exactly. ppl underestimate the 5. its just a lil 1.5 thats mounted MR. it took everything i had to beat him with the ae86 240hp formula spec in the game. and that was when i was a sloppy player. but in real life, the maxi is the shit. theres quite a bit of rally vids with them on the tube.
I saw this video on Google Video's and the owner said the Renault 5 was a V6.. That is not the case.. It's a 1.4 Turbo with 300-350-400 HP killer machine..
i pushed the reanult in the first lap because he was slowing down too much and interfering with my line that i take which is faster through there, but this is because i had so much inertia from the line that i used that i almost had no choice. if it were a real race, i would have felt very bad even though it would only have been considered a "bumper tap"..
well he got me back by hitting me in the ass in the second or third lap, then @ the end, causing me a penalty... i tried my best to loose him though, but i had to spray very strategically and i had to make it last the entire race. otherwise he would have been pushing me for most of the race.. i only really boosted on the straights, and occasionally where i needed a drift i would hit it =]
