I remember watching him and I enjoyed it. I liked the way he played the game. That superbowl, oh lord. I was like he's gonna do it, he's gonna do it, I couldn't sit down. Then 1 yard short time runs out. I dropped to my knees shaking my head like NOOOOOOOO and that isn't even my team. Steve was fun to watch, anyone who doesn't miss him is a rotten piece of garbage. Cowboys fan.
When he was playing,he didntcare about stats, about the publicity, the broken records, all the money,he jus wanted to play nd play he did,so short os a Superbowl, somethin u knew he wanted so bad. R.I.P still my hero man!!!!!

Mcnair the toughest to ever play... VY is finishing yuor work in tennessee he will get the team to that pinnacle of a super bowl! all i see in vince when he plays is steve mcnair my fav player ever
I THINK STEVE BETTER BE IN THE HALL OF FAME, BECAUSE HE IS A FEARLESS SCRAMBLER THAT DID ALOT OF GREAT THINGS FOR THE OILERS/TITANS,STEVE IS A GREAT LEADER,ABD I WOULD PICK STEVE MCNAIR OVER MICHAEL VICK ANYDAY, STEVE HAD MORE ACCURACY THAN VICK
4 those who were blessed 2 watch him play 4 most of his career we no that he should b n the hall, never seen a player as tough as mcnair their will never b another steve mcnair
I like the picture u used at :48 with the part, " U still live in me." It shows that Steve McNair still lives in Vince Young and everyone who was inspired by him.
I just wanna say I love Steve McNair, I am a ravens fan and I wanna say thank you for the 2 years you spent with us you got us a divisional championship, but you are and always will be a Tennessee Titan. Rip Steve, we love you
I just hate it that months after Micheal Jackson dies, no gives a shit about Steve McNair, Farrah Faucett, Billy Mays, or Patrick Swayze dying. They just keep talking about Micheal Jacksons death. RIP Steve "Air" McNair.... u played football with alot heart and will truly be missed.

i still have one but i "retired" it still he's one of the best ever from taking the titans to the sb and all his battles with Baltimore R.i.p. Steve Latreal Mcnair.
i had the honor of watching Steve McNair play for the Titans from 99-06. He was a warrior both on and off the field. He is truly missed. During the first 3 Titans home games (pre and regular season) i have seen so many McNair jerseys. Its clear how many peoples life in Nashville he has touched. Just like Steve the Titans will rise to the occasion when everyone counts them out and this season is in memory of Steve McNair. RIP #9. A true Tennessee Titan
Im sorry he didnt throw 50 tds a season every year.
Just because he didnt have the best stats doesnt make him a top qb. Todays quarterbacks should wear tutu's because they complain about getting tapped. McNair didnt. He got BETTER when he was injured. he played his best while injured. he was a running qb who would get dirty for a win and come out bloody. He had some good seasons. just bc he didnt break records doesnt make him a bad player
to me i think mcnair is in the top 20 or top 10 of the greatest qb's plus he was a great man we will miss him so much i think mcnair is the best titan\oiler qb of all time i think cause he got the titans to the sb ty mcnair for the great memories i'll see ya soon.
r.i.p. steve latreal mcnair i don't like the titans but i hope they beat the steelers just for mcnair and hopefully the titans make the playoffs for mcnair too also ty mcnair for playing for the ravens for two years and giving us a divison title ty mcnair you may r.i.p. i see you soon.
The pride of Mississippi. Alcorn State Braves. I hear stories about how he threw a big party on campus when he got drafted. Sad situation. McNair forever!!!
I am the HUGEST Ravens fan. Steve Mcnair has been my FAVORITE football player in the whole world. I liked him even on the titans. Rest in Peace Steve Mcnair. ;(

We brother and I have had seats at LP Field since the Titans and Steve first started playing there. Steve gave us a lot of great memories. He will be missed!
Wow---awesome video...Tennessee lost a great son, dad, husband, athlete and humanitarian....Despite the tragic events that ended his life...Reflecting on the life he lived is what needs to be remembered!!! Watching the events that have occurred this past week--I have gained an awesome respect for his former coach, Jeff Fisher as well!!! What a blessing that we have him as head coach of the Titans!
Heart still cries, still wake up near Pittsburgh, my 1st love is here at home, 2nd home is Nashville, Titans got to win this year in the name of McNair
I lived in Nashville from 1998-2003. Saw the Oilers/Titans play at Valderbuilt Stadium for the first time before the Colleisum was built. He was an amazing warrior his entire career. July 5th was a very sad day, when i heard the news. Its just so sad that his personal life didn't mimic his professional life. It's not about race. Its about mistakes and bad decisions, when the price is too high. "you play with fire. you get burned. " so sad.
I think the video is great, he was a good speaker, there was nothing phony about Big Mac, I really love this beautiful man. McNair is my home boy, Alcorn is about one hour drive from the highschool I attended, up there in mississippi, when I graduated from high school he were not born. i have been crying ever since i heard the news. My God bless and keep my little sister (his wife) and the kids under his wings.
Kudos to Mt. Zion Baptist for an excellent memorial service and thanks to NewsChannel 5 for broadcasting it for those of us that couldn't make it. The Titans are one classy organization.
GREAT tribute. I don't walk on water, so I won't judge Steve for what he did off the field. I WILL acknowledge Steve's passion and love for football. He was a 'throwback' in my opinion and these young prima donnas need to take an example from him. I REALLY feel bad for Steve's Wife & 4 Sons. DAMN...
thanks for the superbowl you took us too and all the things you playted through and with the passion that you did. everyone needs to shut up. Mac9 was a great man who did work in the community. What he did was definately not right but dont let that tarnish his legacy.
HOW IRONIC that the person that posted this video asked for "respectful" comments only, when Steve McNair was ANYTHING BUT respectful in his life. McNair was cheating on his wife AND cheating on his mistress. How can you be "respectful" of a person like that???
Hes not perfect but has done more positive in his life that you could ever imagine yourself. You clearly are speaking before knowing what he has done off and on the field. A great person indeed.
With all due respect to Steve McNair, and may he rest in peace, but this video is inappropriately labeled. He did not have a career worthy of being called a "myth", or "legend". He was a very good quarterback, and the term "man" is very appropriate. He played w/ all kinds of injuries, proved to be a winner, and also just seemed to be a "good guy". RIP
why didn't he, he was 1 yard short of WINNING the super bowl because if that game goes to overtime and the titans get it the rams D didn't hav any gas left.
but thats not what made him a myth or a legend the only other QBs who had the stats he had running and passing are Sir Fransis Tarkenton, and Steve Young, BOTH are in canton
now you are entitled to you opinion but in my mind steve is a legend and will truly be missed
What a great guy, he had the most heart and soul I've ever seen from anyone in the NFL. And when you look at his retirement he could of kept playing but he chose to retire in order to spend more time and be a bigger part in his kids lives. R.I.P. Steve.
He was the reason I started watching football, I met him at TSU at their mini camp, he was so cool and nice, and the thing that bothers me is that, yeah, he wasn't legally divorced, but man, let the man RIP, you think bashing him on youtube is gonna help, he's gone, if he's burning, he's burning, he doesn't need jackasses to post up dumb stuff on youtube. Steve, I love ya, thanks for the memories, you meant a lot to the state of Tennessee and all black QBs. RIP, people, bashing isn't gonna help.
TRUTH...... he was a FANTASTIC quarterback and one of THE toughest ever in the NFL.... TRUTH..... he participated in many charities throughout his life...... everyone makes mistakes, and countless people cheat in their lives, its a silly mistake that many of us make. IF you have nothing good to say, dont say anything at all.... end.
Also, it is not our business as humans to judge him, the way our lord does, we dont have that power, but I can understand some people losing respect for him under the apparent circumstances!!! We can only respect people for the humans they are, not what their vices in life are!!! A vice that is harmless for me may not be good for u, who's to say who is evil?????
Not sure if she 'actually did it' or not... but still there's a lesson to be learned. His passing will not be in vein if the guys that cheat on their wives pay close attention... I doubt if this tragedy will cease infidelity, but hopefully it produce 'better choices.' Select wisely. I know men are more 'visual.' They see what they like & figure out if she's sane later on. Not prudent! He was an Aquarius, they r usually great thinkers..so sad..what a heavy loss for his sons...
Ok - tragedy yes, good football player yes, one of the greatest....no.
Come on people it might not be politically correct right now - but hall of famer - I dont believe so.
I certainly dont remember people going this crazy about the guys skills when he played - all can agree he was good, but there is way better that are not in the HOF, because the man had something awful happen to him - does not change the logistics of his career.
Yes come on - bring it on - I know I will get all sorts of shit
I see u couldnt wait to hate!! Couldnt wait till more police facts and whatnot came out, huh??? Or even his funeral!!! I aint judging u, but u give me a clear picture of who not to hang wit!!!
I am talking about his Football career. Man...I should not even respond to this - and no we wont be hanging together...I am lost quality brain cells just for having read your statement.
Steve was THE greatest quarterback ever. Has ur qb ever played with the injuries Steve did and win? I'm guessing urs sat on the sidelines whining like a baby. And yes I did go crazy over his skills when he was alive! I met him and saw him play numerous times, argued with anyone who tried to say he wasn't the best, and collected every piece of memorablilia I could find. My wall of fame has been up for years and will continue to be up. Think before you speak MORON
I disagree with you on one point. The one with QB sitting on the sideline "whining". No they didn't whine, they as everyone else waited for they're injuries to heal. BUT. That was made Steve such a magnificent player. NEVER has i seen a player playing through so much pain and so many injuries, he really was the greatest QB, ever. His ability to lead his team, was. I've got no words to describe em.
Mcnair, even as a rams fan, i loved you for the passion you had for the game and the way you played
You really gotta feel for his family and Vince Young. McNair was a mentor to Young. I wonder how Vince Young is taking this news. pray for McNair, his family, his friend, and the people he had mentored particulary Vince Young, Eddie George, his teamates, and his fans. RIP Steve McNair.
As a Colts fan, I hated Steve McNair because he always seemed to put up a helleva game against us. but Ive always had tremendous respect for old "Air McNair". That man was a true warrior who gave the game of football everything he had and then some. Rest in peace Steve. You will be missed.
the things I wanna know is whoes gun was it that did the shooting cause it wasn,t hers I also don,t believe she shot him I was reading an article in a paper this morning saying that the girl was a nice all around girl that doesn,t cause harm so we need to wait and see.
I'm with you johnied8509: What if she was posed to look like the culprit? It feels like there's more than meet the eye w/this case...it usually is. On the other hand, if it's proven that 'she' did it. Let me tell you, one can still be a nice person and just SNAP! Those be the main ones. Life is one big ball of Irony. Most don't take too kind to being rejected...especially in affairs (no pun) of the heart. 20 years old is so young to take an affair that seriously..it's scary. I pray...
Damn Steve, Man I hate you left like this.............
I am a die hard Titans fan, When you went to Bmore I was mad as hell, but baby you put us on the map!! I get this news while watching a Michael Jackson tribute, I was already fucked up. Seems like all my heroes are dying and this shit hurt!! Any advise on how to deal with all these hammer blows?!!
Rip Steve McNair, and to everybody that has no heart for another human being, i pray that you find a way to becoming a better person. because some things just shouldnt be said after the death of someone. Thank you McNair for blessing us with your great football years
Even if your a fan of a rival, you still should have some respect for probably the best scrambling and passing qb ever. Those kind of comments pisses me off...
I hope so...the deserves to be on the hall of fame... I expect the titans to retire no. 9 after this terrible tragedy...RIP Steve...We will always love you and remember you...:'(
all i can say it was an honor to be able to watch air Mcnair play for 13seasons. I will never forget how scared i was when Steve almost beat my beloved patriots in the 03 playoffs. he played so good with the weather being below 0. He was one hell of a player. Thank you Steve for showing us fans you appreciated playing the game. you played the right way Steve. it was a honor to see you play. Steve rip you will be missed so so so much. Rip my friend
are you stupid or do you just not know the meaning of the word respect? The mans dead and unless you know him personally you should have nothing to say.
Steve was one of the greatest. Some would argue differently, but to those that do- they can never take away what he brought to the game of football- he changed the game- he changed me. And to those of you who want to judge his personal life- you don't no the circumstances for which he dealt with- it's always deeper than it appears on the surface. But all that's irrelevant now. We lost a true champion- McNair-Remember the Titan.
I was very saddened to hear the news Saturday 7/4. I watched Steve's career blossom from the moment he was selected 3rd by the Oilers. As an Oilers/Titans fan, there was none better than Air McNair. The team took on his persona of toughness, persistence, and endurance to get the job done. My prayers are with the McNair family, especially his wife and kids. A sad, sad loss. This one hurts.
That's not the case at all. I just know what an influence he had on kids especially in the Nashville community and I don't want some eight year old coming on here reading some of this nonsense.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Baltimore Ravens quarterback STEVE McNAIR was charged with driving under the influence Thursday even though police said his brother-in-law was behind the wheel of the pickup registered to the former Tennessee Titan.
...... "On Thursday, just 2 days prior to the shootings, Kazemi was pulled over and charged with a DUI. The Cadillac Escalade she was driving was registered to both her and McNair. McNair, who was with Kazemi at the time she received the DUI, was not charged with anything.
Nashville Police Spokesperson Don Aaron stated that Kazemi had visited at least two bars Friday night and early Saturday morning prior to the shooting" .........
I bought his jersey for my little Bro the last time i was in Baltimore, he loves him and so do i. R.I.P. Steve McNair. It was an honor to watch you play for the Ravens and the Titans.
Its So Sad hearing him say he wants to be the father to his child and watch them grow up . i remember when i met him at the ravens training camp and he was a tremdendous guy and put his fans first .. and this is one the best tributes i saw today .. R.I.P Steve''Air''McNair
Why is it that the nicest and best people in the world ie Steve McNair, Ed Thomas, Michael jackson have to go early when scumbags and trash like OJ, Vick, and all the rapists in the world get to live?
I love you Steve McNair R.I.P baby

McNair is my home boy, Alcorn is about one hour drive from the highschool I attended, up there in mississippi, when I graduated from high school he were not born. i have been crying ever since i heard the news. My God bless and keep my little sister (his wife) and the kids under his wings.

DAMN...

HOW IRONIC that the person that posted this video asked for "respectful" comments only, when Steve McNair was ANYTHING BUT respectful in his life. McNair was cheating on his wife AND cheating on his mistress. How can you be "respectful" of a person like that???
AnutaCatuna 2 years ago 3
Hes not perfect but has done more positive in his life that you could ever imagine yourself. You clearly are speaking before knowing what he has done off and on the field. A great person indeed.

With all due respect to Steve McNair, and may he rest in peace, but this video is inappropriately labeled. He did not have a career worthy of being called a "myth", or "legend". He was a very good quarterback, and the term "man" is very appropriate. He played w/ all kinds of injuries, proved to be a winner, and also just seemed to be a "good guy". RIP
vanparty 2 years ago
why didn't he, he was 1 yard short of WINNING the super bowl because if that game goes to overtime and the titans get it the rams D didn't hav any gas left.
but thats not what made him a myth or a legend the only other QBs who had the stats he had running and passing are Sir Fransis Tarkenton, and Steve Young, BOTH are in canton
now you are entitled to you opinion but in my mind steve is a legend and will truly be missed

Steve was THE greatest quarterback ever. Has ur qb ever played with the injuries Steve did and win? I'm guessing urs sat on the sidelines whining like a baby. And yes I did go crazy over his skills when he was alive! I met him and saw him play numerous times, argued with anyone who tried to say he wasn't the best, and collected every piece of memorablilia I could find. My wall of fame has been up for years and will continue to be up. Think before you speak MORON
luvinMulder 2 years ago
I disagree with you on one point. The one with QB sitting on the sideline "whining". No they didn't whine, they as everyone else waited for they're injuries to heal. BUT. That was made Steve such a magnificent player. NEVER has i seen a player playing through so much pain and so many injuries, he really was the greatest QB, ever. His ability to lead his team, was. I've got no words to describe em.

I pray...

This one hurts.
terrymcguire2007 2 years ago
That's not the case at all. I just know what an influence he had on kids especially in the Nashville community and I don't want some eight year old coming on here reading some of this nonsense.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Baltimore Ravens quarterback STEVE McNAIR was charged with driving under the influence Thursday even though police said his brother-in-law was behind the wheel of the pickup registered to the former Tennessee Titan.
AnutaCatuna 2 years ago
