When I was like 10, i thought nothing could be worse than getting the injection in the eye, but I used to think that luckily nothing like that exists. AND IT DOES!
1) a weird "Floater" that is the shadow that the blob of steroid casts on your retina. it will sink higher and higher in your vision as it sinks lower and lower into the eye. lasts a week or two. not bad at all
2) long term sequelae: cataracts and glaucoma, neither of which I've had (yet)

@LobstaJohnson I just received a shot in my eye and it seems to be floater in the bottom portion of the eye. The Doctor says it's an air bubble from the needle and it should go away in few days. I'm scared as hell of these shots. DId your vision improve from the shots?
@karis2191 Karis: If you see the floater in the BOTTOM of your vision, it's something that has floated to the TOP of your eye. Therefore, it must be a bubble. Should def go away quickly.
My vision went from 20/200 in the left to 20/30 in about 2 days. My right eye isn't responding as well, but I'm going to give it a few weeks before I complain.

I give myself 4 insulin shots a day on average and prick my finger for glucose tests 4-7 times per day also......and i CRINGED!!!!
