Never could get to grips with the Real Time part of it. Fun and all, and a great feature to add for some occasional gore, but I just can't win on it! lol.

Turn based blows. Doesn't even make the game fun. Its for fucking fan boys and nothing more. You screw up ONCE and the CPU gets like 8 turns, grabs the ball, GG. Fuck that! It's dumb. It SHOULD be played in realtime. I mean, yeah, Warhammer Blood Bowl was a board game first and foremost, i get that. But this particular PC port should have scrapped the turn based shit a long time ago. Or at -LEAST- did something with that god awful "bad roll, no more turns" crap. Too frustrating.
Real time doesn't include dices that much, but anyways the tactics aren't shown the right way. I still prefer the round based version of the like the original is

It's supprising to see how many people hate this style of gameplay. With almost all games being "real time" now, I think its nice to have a good turn based game for a change; but I guess I'm a little biased since I play the tabletop version of Blood Bowl as well as Warhammer. Some people don't have patience for anything slow paced and tactical anymore.

It seems to me that turn based games are a LOT harder. I can barely score in that mode and most of the time I loose. But it's a lot fun in real time and the score is spiced up a lot. and you can still think your moves and use the players according to their skills.

the manual that came with this game is only a few pages long , you really need to know your blood bowl rules to get most out of this.
aw, i had hoped it be just like other football games with the exception that you can use loony tactics, brutal tackles, punches, etc. and other warhammer awesomeness.
This game is way too hard even on easy mode. Tutorial is horrible. Stay away from this one unless you are ready to dedicate a serious amount of time to its insane learning curve.
if you let the game flow on without using concentration too much it just turns in to a brawl (good choice to always have a FULLBACK)

No. Real time is a mess and shoudn't be played. Blood Bowl is meant to be played on "I go You go" -basis.

real time is much better than that crap turn based its boring taking long turns and takes more time and moving when in real time u can make them all attack and no pausing and easier to do strategys for me :P

5 minutes is a long time? Besides Blood Bowl is turnbased, so in real time you aren't actually playing Blood Bowl.
Besides playing in turn based gives the game real tactical elements, like chess, and not just "Who can mash buttons quicker."

okay i have this game and let me tell you the real time mode is not easy. its inoing. i played it once and just stuck with the turn based option.

It seems to me that turn based games are a LOT harder. I can barely score in that mode and most of the time I loose. But it's a lot fun in real time and the score is spiced up a lot. and you can still think your moves and use the players according to their skills.

the turn-based-mode of this game is very much the original table-top game Blood Bowl. the real-time mode is just some messy warcraft crap.
but the game is pretty difficult, i have to admit. it will most likely mainly delight fans of the real non-pc game.

the manual that came with this game is only a few pages long , you really need to know your blood bowl rules to get most out of this.

This game is way too hard even on easy mode. Tutorial is horrible. Stay away from this one unless you are ready to dedicate a serious amount of time to its insane learning curve.
