  • "show the country a path to prosperity" hehe he isn't telling us, it's a path for about 2% of americans (the wealthiest) but not most people.

  • Thanks to liberal policies America can no longer afford to pay for medicare, social security, unemployment and many other services. We also need to lower the minimum wage to $2/hr in order to compete with China and bring jobs back home. Fiscally responsible conservatives like Paul Ryan and John Boehner know this and are currently

working to end these wasteful handout programs and bring the minimum wage down so that America can be great again. God bless the GOP!

  • @GOPkicksbutt let us hope that you and your family will now become penniless by some twist of fate, and all have to go to work at minimum wage, you frikken hypocrite. you would never want that for you and yours. only for "others" - hope you never call yourself a christian, God would laugh in your face as he throws you and your kind into hell.

  • NY-26 was no mistake.

Thanks, ryan - you've handed Dems the trifecta of the House, Senate, and Presidency in 2012.

    You are amazing...and "mediscary!"

  • This guy looks like a lying Douche. He's horrible at hiding it.

What idiots voted for this asshole?

People that like to bend over and even lube it up before he sticks it in?

  • Everyone in Washington knows that Paul Ryan has been told he has a million dollar a year lobbying job for the health industry if he gets his health care law passed.

Here's how it works-he lies through his teeth to get it passed-the healthcare insurance industry makes billions more from vouchers while still denying it's customers health care.

Meanwhile this nigger gets a cushy one million dollar a year job as a lobbyist. Way to sell out your own people Ryan!

  • This stooge Ryan didn't even get the hint from the moderator: Wisconsin as the American Tunesia. Great idea - Let's start. First we have to isolate the state and federal budget gestapo. We'll then see which despots are actually running this country.

  • Way to go Paul Ryan. I would faze out SS over ten years, it was a con from the start. cut all entitlements, get rid of the IRS saying no to anymore federal income tax, it is unconstitutional. Eliminate all public unions, they make no cense and just grow government. Give power back to the local level were it belongs. Stop feeding the bums it only attracts more.

  • watch?v=Z_q1fX4cyZ0 - The Essence of American Power

  • paul ryan is such a smug asshole

  • Goldman Sachs released a forecast this week which estimates that Republican spending cuts would reduce GDP growth by 1.5% over the next 2 quarters. The rule of thumb is employment declines roughly 0.5 % of the labor force for every 1% decline in GDP. The forecast decline in employment if the Republicans get their way is around 350,000 jobs.

  • @worldnewsbbc1 -Anyone with a single synapse would not consider Goldman Sachs a reliable resource for future economic activity. They own shares in the Federal Reserve...so why should I trust? The jobs will continue to leave America...everyone wanted globalization and now they have it...quit whining and enjoy third world status.

  • How come Ryan does not put his Roadmap up for a vote? What is he afraid of? Maybe because it increases the debt to 67 trillion dollars by 2060 while shifting taxes to the middle class and destroying medicare and social security.

  • This person doesn't understand the issues that we are facing. I feel, he does not understand, what social reform is needed. I feel he speaks; as if he understands and cares. but they are only hollow words. I feel ashamed that I share a surname with this person. I have many theories and solutions to our problems. we must get away from supply-side economics.

  • Please clarify how the CRA was "deregulation"? Big 'gubment' cronies like Barbie "B.F." Frank and Chris Dodd pushed (threatened) lending institutions to give NINJNA Loans to high risk borrowers who DID NOT QUALIFY, HAD NO DOWN PAYMENT and BAD or NO credit history. After a few years the banks knew big brother Gubment (and us taxpayers) had their backs. So what the heck...if a person can fog up a mirror, give em a house! Now what was that about de-regulation? Thanks for playing.

  • I will never take these hypocrite republican assholes seriously until they end the bush tax cuts for the super wealthy. Until then they are doing nothing but blowing smoke up everyone’s ass

  • "Sanpaku, is common among those who are ill or exhausted. (white showing below the iris). Here, the iris floats upward. showing that a person's nervous system is seriously imbalanced. Such a person's mind, body, and spirit are out of harmony with the larger forces of the cosmos. The person's intuition is off; his or her ability to assess people and situations is weak."

it is stressful being reckless........van hollan looks pretty clam and healthy.

  • I hope slick politicians like Van Hollan keep talking. It will guarantee another conservative landslide in 2012. Keep talking Chris, the country thanks you.

  • @deficithawker Actually, you're only paying them, at most, half what they made while they were working with unemployment benefits.

Creating jobs isn't the primary incentive to decreasing the size and scope of government: Reducing debt is. Cutting taxes and regulation does create jobs, though.

  • @DaDestroyer1986 Deregulation caused the financial crisis and destroyed millions of jobs. Under the Clinton rates, 22 million jobs were created. Under the Bush rates, 1 million jobs were created. What evidence do you hae that deregulation and tax cuts create jobs? Carter created more jobs per year than Reagan or Clinton. Google Presidents And Prosperity Forbes Carter ranks #1 in job creation, Clinton ranks #2, Reagan ranks #3.

  • @worldnewsbbc1 No, it didn't. Government being involved in the housing market caused the recession. You're an economic illiterate. Enough with you.

Carter is ranked #1 even though he lost due to a recession? Hilarious. Under Carter, maybe. That doesn't tell us he did it.

  • @DaDestroyer1986 Go ahead explain how govt forced AIG to write credit default swaps or how govt forced rating agencies to put a AAA rating on junk bonds. You have stupidly and childishly bought into Wall Street's public relations campaign. They tell you that deregulation and low taxes will create jobs and you eat it up like a fool. The recession in 79 was induced by the Federal Reserve to fight inflation. Familiarize yourself with US econ history you dunce.

  • @worldnewsbbc1 Regulation would have stopped S&P and Moody's from rating MBS AAA (or Aaa)? No, because government knows less about valuation than it does about economics.

Regulation would have stopped credit-default swaps? They did those things to lower their risk after the government forced them to give mortgages to people they knew would default.

  • @deficithawker The longer your unemployment benefit checks come in the mail, the longer you will be unemployed.

  • @deficithawker Make work jobs don't create wealth. There's a reason FDR's ditch-digging jobs created by the New Deal didn't get us out of the Great Depression.

  • @deficithawker Or if government workers lose their jobs. Bureaucrats losing their jobs is a good thing.

  • If government workers lose their jobs, I don't have a problem with it.

  • Of course certain jobs will be lost. If you turn off the taxpayer printing press, those who are suckling mana from the teet of government will lose their jobs. Destroy our children's future or perpetuate needless jobs... that's a head scratcher. That is unless your priority is being reelected. "Thumbs up" to Ryan for taking on the heavy lifting.

  • @wwwint2 That's exactly it. Bob here is an idiot for not asking the question: What kinds of jobs will be lost?
