Can ANYBODY answer this question: somebody did a remake of this song probably a couple of years ago. Whoever it was did a helluva kick ass job, and the accordion player nailed every single note. WHO WAS THE BAND AND WHAT WAS THE NAME OF THE SONG? The name of Steve Jordan's original song is "El Corrido de Jonny El Pachuco". I think the remade song went by another title. There is a reward for whoever can help me.

It's not "Dos Carnales". At first, I thought it was Los Garcia Brothers, but it's not. Los Garcia Brothers has another song, "Pachuco", but that's not it either. I live in Fort Worth, Texas and we used to have a tejano radio station (Super Tejano) that played it every now and then. Every time I tried to call in to get the title and artist of this song, I could never get through. Thanks for responding, though.

I just wanted to say that both JV and El Parche kick ass. The only difference is their style. Regardless of style, they both can make the accordion sound beautiful in a very unique way. Steve along with Paulino Bernal, Tony de la Rosa, and a few others are who Jaime DeAnda and Albert Zamora got their ideas from just so you know that this guy is a top of the line accordion player although he wasn't as famous.
