  • I still think she should be in handcuffs or some other type of bondage. Especially wearing revealing cloths. My ultimate fantasy is her cuffed and getting whipped.

  • I still think she should be in handcuffs or some other type of bondage. Maybe something painful like a strappado.

  • A GOOD chess player should be leading the lessons.. not sombody that dont know the game.

What about going down to a chessclub and ask if 2 GOODplayers may come play on the show??

Stop inviting people that dosnt know anything about chess...its bad for the show.

People want to learn chess! not hear Phil making bad jokes.

Good job getting rid of the glass set. it was horrible.

Good thing starting with lessons. about time!!!

  • Chess Now invites everyone to come onto the show every week, so how about some "real" chess club players stop fronting and come down to the studio and be on the show. I'm all for chess education. I know my jokes are bad but I wasn't even on this episode so no need for player hating! Nyeah! Good point on the glass set comment tho.

  • You're cool Phil, and the Checkerboard Kids is pro by the way.

But he's right. Chess Now seriously needs to get Jeffrey and Greg back on the show. They made the show informative rather than funny. Not that I dislike the funniness of the show at all, but I think if it were a bit more serious Chess-wise and educated the viewers while being funny at the same time, then it would be a much better show overall.

  • Thanx 4 the kudos Qong! You're both right about getting serious players that can inform. The reason I end up in the guest chair is the scheduled guests vanish last minute (last minute commitments or stage fright)and I happen to be helping out behind the scenes. NYC is a chess town! Madison Sq. Park was home to one of the earliest chess exibitions in the USA! and Chess Now cant get players? WTF? Go for it guys!

  • Sure, np pal~

I agree with what you're saying about NYC as well. I really can't believe that more people don't want to go on MNN to play chess haha. I wish I were a better player, I would definitely go on the show. I assume that it's mostly due to the very first episodes, which is understandable. I just think that Greg and Jeffrey took the show to a much higher level than it was previously at, with that in mind they should definitely be on the show more often.

  • what about having evrything ready when the show starts? always a mess on the computer, angels on the board and so on.

what program are you guys using for chess?? what about showing some highrated online matches from like ICC or FRITZ?? find 2players

rated like 2600+ playing a 3minute game.. always fun to watch those matchees.. allot of action!!

  • Hello Agathe,

I like your show. You are a very attractive and intelligent host. Chess is a fascinating game and it is good to make it more popular. The show is very entertaining (because of Phil :-) ), but nevertheless you should focus on more chess theory like openings or endgames. And I hope also the prank callers are gone.

Agathe, je t'embrasse bien fort, beaucoup bisous from Stuttgart (Germany)

  • I had some trouble following the numbers and poem, but otherwise the show is making sense.
