$8000 given over to a fan film that is made of clips from a Superman movie made thirty years ago and stock footage. People need to learn how to spend their money better.

I would like to give my honest opinion about this fan film. I hope by no means to come off as rude or disrespectful because I applaud the entire cast and crew for taking the time to create something special, especially since Superman is such a hard character to portray. But after watching the film I didn't feel as if it was a superman film at all. I think just about every character cast was wrong for the role. It was a good effort and im still grateful fans out there are creating these. thank u!

@straightballinf Nolan is the producer and Syneder is the director of the new Superman. Nolan said he, like in Batman, would be the only hero in his universe. There has been little to no announcments, and DC announced they are filming a Justice League in 2013, and are putting a Batman and Superman reboot as their primary focus. Also, they wil introduce new characters. Leading me to believe that Nolan's Superman may not happen or his Superman will be with other heroes. lol...o-O

Who is making the fan film, and how did they manage to get legal permission to make and broadcast a Superman movie? I was under the impression that Warner Brothers had *ALL* legal rights at the current time for Superman movies along with DC Comics.

@GTidmore1 if you profit then you can be sued. This film is made from their own money and fan contribution and will be available for free. Therefore it is allowed.

@GTidmore1 yes check THE MAN OF STEEL IS BACK.COM AND SUPERMAN HOMEPAGE.COM they might've given rights because they would've got tired of delaying the originally scheduled movie which was 1st 2009 then delayed up2 2012 :)

@HARISHROSHAN - One has to wonder if there is any chance of this movie having Tom Welling, at the least, do the voice-over for Clark Kent/Superman. Ditto with Erica Durance for Lois Lane stuff. Is there any way to get some preview clips from the fan movie before November - that's a LONG time to wait without having any decent brand-new Superman stuff to watch. Oh well, at least we can all just watch the stuff we have on hand to get our Superman fix this summer. Thanks for your info.

@GTidmore1 I would much rather give the role to WILL REEVE to step in his fathers boot. atleast Tom welling have already played it and personally I liked smallville tom speacially when he discovered powers learning himself all. But am bored of listening to ppl calling him clark and seeing him as clark NO OFFENSE.
