-- The best way to have rich lower/middle class is to have lots of businesses. Redistribution of wealth currently planned is GLOBAL not just the US. Global income is $2 per day -- global government = global poverty. This video about World poor/immigration demonstrates the point with gumballs. Easy to understand. I'm voting Ron Paul as his financial plan doesn't cut government assistance checks, as he balances the budget.
He asked Paul like he was crazy. "So you excpect the government to force a woman to carry a baby the 9 months?" That's such a perversion of logic. Remember sex is a personal choice. Sex creates life it's not a game. And if you choose to have sex, be a moral person and don't kill your child because it isn't the right time for you. If you don't wanna raise any kids than don't screw. It is as simple as that.
Then answer me this question jneil2007, is a woman who is pregnant with a rape child responsible for treating sex like a game? A rape victim did not choose to have sex. Should be she punished with raising a child she did not intend on raising?
Or, lets take another argument. Many abortions are conducted because a child is detected to have severe disabilities. Is it morally responsible to force two people (the mother and the baby) to suffer due to the disability?
@IMAGIMATIONanimation Well abortion is murder in my opinion. There have been cases where woman raise kids that were victims of rape and grew up perfectly fine. I know that's tough but if we want to get away from using abortion as a form of birth control than everyone will just come in and say they got raped. But this issue really depends on personal morality, that's the only way it will be solved. But I say let the states deal with it instead of a one size fits all. And as far as disabled same.
@IMAGIMATIONanimation There's day after pills and other contraception tools that can be utilized within hours, or even days to great success to address your first comment. Personally I don't see the difference between a living being inside a womb, or a living being outside a womb, so you know where my stance on this is at. I'd prefer to make it easier to prompt adoption and advocate that route instead. We don't kill mentally handicap people, even if they remain infantile for their entire lives.

He is a doctor who only has experience in a nation with exclusively private systems. I live in the US, but I lived in Korea for several years. South Korea has a universal health care system, and I can tell you that their healthcare system is much more efficient than the healthcare system in the US, is equal in quality of care, and covers the entire population, unlike the US. Most importantly though, it costs only a quarter of the amount US citizens spend.
All the rest of the 1st world has far better health care than we do. None of them choose the free market. I know many people on VA and they like it. I lived in England and in Germany and a guarantee you it is better than our healthcare by a long way. What complete garbage he is talking
@jonizzzzzzzzzzz I just noticed the 1988 date on the link above, that doesn't change the fact that England is nothing like the USSR was (past tense) does it (Not a questions you fucking simpleton). You fucking halfwit.
@jonizzzzzzzzzzz He compares England to the Soviet Union and there is absolutely no comparrison. He even brings a third world country into the argument, India. What utter garbage he is talking. I have lived in England and Germany and I had many friends in Germany who were from the USSR (Sudetendeutschen) and they told me that the healthcare in Germany was far better than the USSR. I know from years of experience, that England and Germany's healthcare is better than ours.
I'm for the GOP. Give millionaires back exactly what they paid - with reasonable interest and not one cent more when it comes to Social Security, Medicare, VA, any government assistance. I watched a lady that inherited $2 million during her last 6 months of cancer. Medicare paid all her medical bills and she drew a SS check off her husband. She never worked or paid into the system. She died with $2 million dollars in the bank and with America in more debt than any time in history.
I couldn't imagine witnessing what Ron Paul describes seeing at 4:00. That's really fucked up. I have mixed opinions on abortion being a libertarian who generally believes the government should stay out of private affairs. But Ron Paul is a doctor by profession so I really trust his views on abortion. If a doctor who has delivered many babies says its not right, then you really have to respect that. I lean more towards the right the life than the right to choose.
@BobGeorgeAU I share your mixed feelings. I recently watched a video by libertarian Walter Block which I think offers a good compromise. He separates abortion into 2 separate acts. 1) the act of evicting 2) the act of killing. A woman has the right to evict but not to directly kill. seach Walter Block Evictionism
When it comes to abortion the national debate lacks what I call "natural contract". I posit that the act of sexual intercourse comes with the knowledge that pregnancy may result. One of the first big questions that young children ask is where they came from. Unless you lie to that child we all grow up knowing what sex can result in.
The natural contract is between a woman and child that she is carrying. For that reason I think abortion after 10-12 weeks like most countries should be illegal.
Awesome to see Ron Paul in his earlier years. Its amazing how much sharper he is today in his old age. Everyone I know his age is lucky to remember what they had for lunch.
@connoisseurodg I guess when you stand for the constitution your policies never change. Love him or hate him you can't deny his reliability to stand for the constitution. I agree Ron Paul 2012
Amazing that this guy thinks there's a free-market in medicine. This is in 1988, and we still hear that same argument today. Nothing changed...
His take on abortion is weak. I guess he hasn't figured it out 100%, or is otherwise unsure. But personally, I believe that while the fetus maybe has rights, the mother has them also. And for the government to infringe upon the mother's rights is appalling. So the question is, does the government has the right to do anything about it? No. They do not.
@fairlylargejohn yes they do have a right. becuz a government has a righ to protect ALL life. you wouldnt advocate a mother scrambling her 1 day old babies brains now woul u?
it's no different simply becuz it's still within the womb.
it's a human and if a fetus is a human killing it is an act of murder.
no one is saying the mother has to keep it but she can't kill it.

What does he know? He's just a DOCTOR!
Obama's the MESSIAH, he knows all and sees all!
He claims to know more about oil than the oil industry, more about health-care than doctors, and more about everybody else's job than everyone!
That's what the idiots believe anyway.
