Totally. Didn't have the 'serious' work ethic or concentration. As far as being an amazing shot maker and talent - he had no equals - not even Mac. He did apply himself well enough to win 4 Masters Champonships and easily beat Borg in the last one (1975).

He played doubles in our club this summer, with the former German chancellor Schroeter. A little slower, but the touch is all still there... magnificent!
