Hi, just checked out your website and could not find any info about the Atlas 4 axle locos. Are you still offering the services to adding sound in these engines?
@lowarcher Yes it is under THT Altals-DCC Sound. We do offer the sound package using the LokSound Micro decoder for the following diesel locos: Atlas Dash 8-40B Dash 8-40BW Dash 8-40BHW GP38 GP38-2 GP40 SD50/60 and FVM: GEVO Kato: GG1 E8/E9 PA/PB SD80/90 Bachmann DD40AX Regards, Vince
Wow! So it CAN be done! The biggest hold back to my going into N scale has been the lack of sound in the smaller diesels. That engine looks and sounds great! Your prices are reasonable, too. Oh, I am so tempted....
The frame is milled in 3 areas to give room for the decoder and 2 LokSound speakers. The light board is cut to provide electrical contacts. A custom color corrected surface mount LED is installed in the rear light.
The price for our Atlas Sound installation is 178.93 and includes the LokSound decoder, 2 speakers, additional SM LEDS and installation labor. The loco is extra. You can visit the site TopHobbyTrains to see other options.
I saw your sit and I have to say very good prices! Best prices I have seen yet! Some people I've talked to want like $300 for this. I'm wondering if I can have a LOKsound Micro installed in a KATO GE AC4400CW, two speakers, the frame probably milled, and I think that's it. I know this isn't on the list but I'm wondering if you might be able to do this for me. I would also like to know the cost if you can do this. Thank you and sorry about the questions.

Hey, how did you fit a LOKsound micro in that engine? I need a bit of help with this since I'm planning to install some so can you give me any tips?
