What a cool video. I remember this game vividly. The Cowboys were 7-0 entering this game. Too bad the cowboys lost.. Nice to see the late Ron Springs throw Danny White a TD pass.
very cool video. i remember game too. it was a sunday night game on abc. just to bad the cowboys lost a close high scoring game. the 'boys were 7-0 prior to the game.
@DanimalBr You're right. This is my revised order of Dallas QB's: Tied for 1st: Staubach/Aikman, 3rd: Danny White, 4th: Craig Morton, 5th: Don Meredith, 6th: Eddie LeBaron, 7th: Clint Longley 8th: Romo
@5lowrollD how the hell do you put longley in front of romo? that guy had what, one win in one game before sucker punching captain america and running for the hills! also, eddie lebaron was ancient and almost out of gas by the time he came to dallas. romo should be at number 6 and has a great opportunity to make it to number 3 by the end of his career!
@TheWadejones Sorry, quincy is way, way down on the list. Probably just above ryan leaf. I was talking about greatest Dallas QB's. Also, hard to say about Morton, at least he got to the super bowl against the colts. But White had better numbers and more regular season wins.
looks like you were at the game...remember it like yesterday from a Cowboy die-hard fan who was not at the game (NJ) but remembers well....crazy game something like 31-24 at the half Dallas and then they lose 40-38...it "could have been " SB XVIII preview, but the Big D fell flat in Wild Card Game vs. Rams while Raiders won it all...
@lgolden20 I was at the game -- dad took the shaky video. I just remember the Cowboys being 7-0 before the game and then ... pffft. I was 12 at the time and I asked Al Davis for his autograph. He took a few steps toward me, stopped and said: "I can't, kid. If I give you one then everyone would want one." WHAT?!?!
Danny White is still my favorite QB.

Cowboys with Landry were the greatest! Danny White belongs in the ring of honor, so does Ed Too Tall Jones

When was the last time Romo made a play like this? This is the order of dallas qb's: Aikman, Staubach, White, then Romo.

@5lowrollD You forgot Don Meredith, he should go ahead of Romo as well.
