Alex, get a Stinger DSI with LaserShield. It has a patch antenna instead of a horn antenna which is much better and the laser function works wonderfully. Just search YouTube on Stinger DSI.

I can tell you that that many scanners in a 96 Ford Taurus makes the interior look a lot better. ;) In my opinion, you could never have enough scanners. Ideally, two trunking scanners, two DIGITAL trunking scanners and two analog scanners (one having dual watch. Land mobile radios work too) I also prefer radar protection on all four sides of the vehicle, primarily on the back since you don't see a lot back there. One gps for navigation and one gps for police postions. A navigator helps a lot!

Can someone verify something for me? When he made his record run, it shows they only stopped for gas 2 times. The first time was in El Reno, OK which is almost 1500 miles from where they began. The problem I have is they filled up at they pumped 34.606 gallons of fuel in, and given the theory they began with a full tank, they would've gotten close to 43 MPG! I don't see how they got that good of MPG considering their average speed was 90 MPH. Anyone have any answers or speculations?

Well, this isn't that old. It was the first M5 to have a V8, all the ones before it had I6's. And I was wrong about the engine, it is the S62 not the S65. The S65 is the V8 in the new M3.
