@rickfisk Schenker was 17 when he's debut in Lonesome Crow album with Scorpions, so Phenomenon was released in 1974, he was 19 years old!!

Hair, jacket, guitar, pants, shoes, composition and playing... To me this was the time when he was on top of the game. Can't get any better than this. Short jam between 2:15 and 3:37 is just a masterpiece. There are thousands of guitarists out there, but only Schenker can come up with this melody. I can't get enough of his music. He truly is Chopin in our time.

This performance by Michael Schenker with UFO is proving to be unique. The jam after Lipstick Traces is unmatched in feeling and intensity, The sound quality of this recording is something very special. My compliments to the sound engineers and UFO.

Answer to post #1. The track Lipstick Traces is on the UFO Phenomenom album on vinyl. I have a copy. No doubt somebody can turn it into MP3 but it will lost the origanal depth of sound.

Came across this video while checking whether each important track on my original vinyl was available online before laboriously converting them to digital format. Never in a million years did I expect to find a live recording of Lipstick Traces (albeit a few years after I saw the band). Totally awesome.

In researching Ray I was amazed at his history the guys done everything twice. Including singing for UFO in the early 70,s?
