i have faster way using a large 50 lb weight and large tarsh bucket the weight is attached to a board i just load like 30 cans at one time lay the board acrooss the trash bucket and pound them 2- 3 times to flatten em all in 5 seconds ! MY cost to make this was ZERO all pieces found while recycling on streets ! Pole from vacumm cleaner weight is from a basketball net trash bin supplied by city for recycling !
Would you be willing to share your plans for this can crusher? I have been put in charge of starting a recycling program in the prison that I work at and I need to improve the current way in which we crush cans (we use a manual crusher). Your crusher looks like it would work perfect.
