Far from ideal application. This graphic should have had registration marks on both colors to make it easier to line up. Doing a wet app with the small pieces of vinyl in the shadow is asking for it to peel up when removing the tape.
Far from ideal application? You don't need registration marks on something so easy like this. Usually, when vinyl is being applied on top of other vinyl 99% of the time it will stick just fine. And usually it sticks just fine on some surfaces. Example: plexi. Don't run your mouth on here saying improper things about how to apply vinyl. It's quite apparent you have no idea how to properly do these applications.
I've been designing and applying vinyl in a succeseful sign shop for many years. Any professional with half a brain would probably print this, but if you HAD to use vinyl, they would use registration marks. Its all part of the process of ensuring that everything that leaves the shop is done properly. And second, don't feel like you need to issue personal attacks just because your on youtube. Stop acting like a friggin cave man and grow up.
COOL...Online videos are the the greatest learning tool of the modern times...I learn better observing than just reading tedious manuals and schmatics...thanks.

I agree that applying this with the 'wet' application was pretty pointless but I think it was to just show how it's done.
But as far as registration marks go- you don't HAVE to have them. I NEVER use them and can assure you my stuff comes out pretty damn close to perfect.

do you have it on the sticky side?

if your skim board is waxed, you might find that this is the problem, the adhesive doesn't like wax.

I know this would have been as easily done dry, but I wanted to show both methods.
