  • Music is a little boring. Instead of music please put some commentary/narration next time so I know more of what i'm seeing.

  • @jaymorpheus11 There used to be the actual soundtrack to the video along with background music but YouTube took the audio off because it was against copyright and I had to choose another song out of their options. I didn't want to lose all the views by uploading another copy so I just went with it.

  • Boobs !!! did you see some boobs!!

  • I saw this video, and I was like "oh I wish I could go here. but its probably too far or in another state" and then I read that it was in Long Island, and I was like HOLY **** thats a half hour away from me!!! so I'm going here sometime soon I hope

  • @alienwaretechguy Thank the powerful Energy Baron's lobby for that. Tesla would've truly brought us into the next age, but their greed always gets in the way of progress. Imagine clean wireless energy for the whole world for just a couple hundred dollars a day for everyone!

  • Why is there still electricity and lights in this place? Doesnt make sense...

  • yo i go in here all the time with my friends and it looks nothing like this inside what part did u guys go in? we went in the main brick building which doesnt have anything in it , it just has a long hallway with a few rooms but nothing inside..it has an elevator but we r to scared to go down in it..did you go down there??

  • 4;35 flash?

  • Awesome video! Just a heads up, I featured it on my site tracingthehorizon.

Thanks for putting this out there!

  • Why didn't you wear gloves?

  • tesla is the fucking man

  • 6 people dislike this cuz there amish

  • How'd you get in? It's guarded.

  • I found some instructions in there on building special glasses that allow you to see through girls clothes.

  • great music, nice and interesting video!

  • how did you get in if its abandon

  • Someone should head up an effort to have at least part of the property registered into the National Register of Historic Places. That way the place will be protected and efforts can then proceed about restoration of the most significant artifacts. Are there any Tesla foundations that can be contacted?

  • Sorry.. 98% of this video is a tour of Peerless Photo's building.. Id hate for people to be mislead and think all of that was Tesla's Lab. I hope you guys weren't the idiots that ruined the place.. its completely destroyed inside now.. ruined. I went in for the first time about 6 years ago and the place was pristine.. Recently.. I saw it.. TRASHED.

  • This is in Shoreham NOT Wading River.

  • you guys found the greatest thing ever captured on film or camera by any urban explorer world wide... tits ;D

  • ok dude so i wanna do spelunking and urban exploration can u make a vid of like about it and such where and where not to go o.o please

  • Those are not blueprints from Tesla. Old blueprints have reverse images, in other words backgrounds are inked and not the drawings.

  • @HHH100

Yeah there are some blueprints that date back to the 50's which are done in that manner. But all the blueprints are for the Peerless Photo's facilities that were added onto Tesla's building.

  • the music is soooo annoying

  • Why does everybody feel the need to put crappy music over these interesting videos, extremely annoying and distracting

  • Thanks for posting this.

  • How did you get inside?!

  • That's an interesting view of the inside of Wrdenclyffe. I didn't know that the building was still standing. I'm also surprised there are so many things remaining. Is it still standing today? It would be great if it could be turned into a museum to Tesla. At the very least, he deserves that much recognition!

  • its located in shoreham NY not in wading river. shoreham is the town west of wading river asshole retards.

  • Blue-prints of Hitler's secret flying saucer base at the South Pole!

  • pretty cool. Interesting video.

  • why are the lights still on in the place?

  • someone should turn this place into a concert venue / museum.

  • yeah. i broke in there about 5 yrs ago. i fact, the door was open. i got pics. was scary.

  • hahahahaha pushing buttons with power in the building yet... ;) Awesome stuff

  • Ya know, with all the bad lighting, and the mysteriousness...

I was preparing myself for a screamer.

Thankfully, it was as I had hoped, a good bit of urbx. 5*

  • those papers what happened to them did you keep any.

  • AMAZIIINGG!!!

  • My research can be found on: "Nikola Tesla and My Thoughts" (google it) and it has lot of interesting ideas like Tesla's combustion engine, Energy of space, Flying machine, Magnetic linear movement, Plasma on aluminum in water, Quantization of gravitation, Tesla's energy transmitter, Tesla's style windmill and other interesting stuff.

  • Thx to share that ! Trought you was I can take a look inside ,woahh so sad how look all inside, I hope that building wil be rescure. Nice music great vid 5/5

  • The building is supposedly going to be torn down soon, there are people trying to get it turned in to a museum to Tesla as well. Hopefully reason will prevail.

  • @TheZenTurtle Has the building been torn down yet or is it still explorable?

  • @TheZenTurtle so what happened? ripped down?>

  • did you guys take all the blue prints?! thats insane that you got in there

awesome video 5/5 you guys rock socks :D

  • We didn't take them.

  • oh i thought you did because everyone keeps saying you did.

anyways you guys should do a second exploration and try to get into camp hero im extremely interested in these 2 places :)

  • @TheZenTurtle take only pictures, leave only footprints...unless what your taking is of historical or special value then take it and anonymously donate it to a museum or star wars cult iunoooo

  • @TheZenTurtle good on ya for leaving everything as it was. true ue spirit. however i dont think it was the best idea this time if the building is planned on getting demolished. preserving history and all

  • @jujuishardcore as a rule of urban exploration, you don't take anything but pictures.

  • WMG strikes again......:(

anyway if they hadn't picked those blueprints up what do you think would have happened to them?

some labourer would have eventually threw them in a skip, along with everything else inside when the site eventually gets cleaned up. if they thought they were important they would have been removed by now...

better this way that leaving them to get trashed.

  • I love your screen name!

  • Thanks. I love your vids. Especially spooky Camp Hero ones :)

  • WMG strike again.........:(

  • Seen this on History channel live not to far from here

  • GO!

  • Where the sound?

  • They muted it....ugh

  • You people have no respect for this historical site. I hope you get prosecuted for stealing those blueprints and whatever else you took. And for your shitty taste in music.

  • Great find, those framed blueprints are a bonus.

  • Saw your post on io9. This is pretty cool, I hope they don't have to demolish it.

  • It looks like they're in the wrong building. The original laboratory building still stands but it has been added to. After Tesla the building was used for other purposes including producing photographic products. If there is anything left from Tesla's days it will be minimal (perhaps a few fixtures leftover and forgotten) but they're in what appears to be a newer addition.

  • Pasted from an earlier comment made by the author:

"We made it in to the original lab plenty. It is just hard to tell from the video because it was so dark, and the only thing telling you it was original is the brick on the wall."

    You're welcome :p

  • Agfa Corp. owns the land the building sits on, so they'd pay for the electricity the lights are using. The lights are probably on for security reasons (even if there's no security guards). They do that in many unused buildings.

  • You realise there's talking going on WHILE screaming music is happening, yes? It's rather obnoxious.

  • urban ex sires!

  • maybe its hooked up to the ionosphere and thats why the lights are on you stupid cunts.

  • ive been in dozens of abandoned sites and this was by far the most interesting, theres only been one tenant, it hasnt been used in 30 years, and you can see the entire internal structure if you would get your lazy ass off your fucking computer and check it out yourself, stop being a useless internet critic, cause nobody gives a fuck what you have to say. and i have no idea why the lights were left on, but its an excellent feature.

  • LOL...the place has obviously been used by god knows how many tenants since Tesla moved out. All the internal architecture, equipment & "relics" are about 10 yrs old. It's no different than exploring any other random building, only the outer walls have any historical significance @ this point. What a joke. And next time you make an "urban explorer" video, don't fuck it up w/ lame-ass music...try to generate a little atmosphere...& maybe learn how to use a camera, too.

  • lol at the random tidbits

  • Why are the lights on? I thought you were breaking in or does someone you know work there?

  • i would love to get my hands on anything that you guys might have acquired. let me know.

  • Comment removed

  • did you manage to aquire any of those blueprints in the end?

    or any other souveniers?

if so i might be interested in purchasing one or two items.

  • damn that place is f 'n huge. It doesn't look that massive from the outside. Truely awesome. I wonder where that ladder goes? probably to Calverton!

  • I grew up right next to Shoreham (Rocky Point). My friend and I had always been interested in exploring the Tesla Tunnels. Did you actually find any evidence of the tunnels themselves (much older and approximately ten feet wide by fifteen/twenty feet high)? At one point, the tunnels ran to Shoreham beach before the Army Corps of Engineers demolished their entrance on the beach in the 1960's.

  • paint in the rooms is fairly new. too well preserved seeing how long ago. while ppl. were out chasing the rothschild/rockefeller fed reserve monies one of the greatest inventors of their time and still ours as the gov. uses tesla tech. for their crafts etc., lays dying alone broke. as w/J.P. Morgan took what he had too. they would just asume eat each other alive as to become as one. what does this tell us of humanity? humanist is what they call themselves.

  • that loud buzzing noise don't sound too healthy especially since all that seems to be on are lights.Every time i hear something like that i think somethings shorted or having problems(like a jammed air conditioning motor)just hope it dont start a fire. i would be switching things off in the hope of killing that noise.

  • This looks like a fun place to check out.

  • Pretty cool vid, I would love to explore an old abandoned building but sadly the only one I can think of that is remotely near me of is an old warehouse 15 minutes from where I live. Have you guys had any bad experiences exploring and old building?

  • not just the music, I like to hear the sounds of people walking around in places like this, it makes you feel more like you are there. Oh, and by the way, the message about being reported to the police, my 12 y/o cousin wrote that, my bad dude!

  • Cool I was wondering why you would be asking question one moment than threatening the next.

  • Go ahead and be expecting a visit from the police. You were trespassing and there is proof of that. They can track you down threw your youtube account. And you have been reported to the authorities. Your welcome.

  • "you're welcome" you are. Not "your welcome" retard.

  • Sad, I was really excited to see this, but because of the (horrible) music, I cant watch. Make another video, this time without music!

  • Mute your volume dumbass

  • it gives ya a "dont wana be here" kind of feel.

  • Yea Jc it dose sound like a Tesla Coil in the backround but i just wish they dident play the music so we could have had a better listen.

  • Nice find Jc cheers m8.

  • That's cool.

  • why are all the lights on?

  • Don't know, isn't it weird though? Makes the place alot more creepy with blinking and dim lights.

  • I drove past it the other day. It looks very inaccesible, at least from Tesla Street. I didn't want to linger there too long, there were people out in their yards...one house on the corner of 25A is an East Setauket fire chief, I think. There was also a firehouse and a fenced-in lot with two military transport trucks parked (strange). How would you get in?

  • Wait, all the lights are on and there's a loud buzzing sound? In an abandoned Tesla Tower? Call me paranoid, but the obvious conclusion is that there's a working Tesla Coil somewhere down there. There are actual files down there? My jaw is on the floor; grab 'em, copy 'em, disseminate 'em, sell the originals. What would you do in a computer game? You'd explore the whole place for treasure, right? I hope you took those files; if not, why not? There are CAGES down there? WTF?!

  • Tesla was evicted in the late 1910's the building was bought by Peerless Photo and all of the documents and much of the structure was added decades after Tesla had been there.

  • So not all the docs relate to Tesla... they'd still be valuable to someone; you might have passed up a lucrative earner. Still; lights on means power, so who's paying for it? Either someone's stil paying the bill, or someone left a Tesla Coil running. Did you explore the entire complex?

  • I have a couple documents as souvenirs, if someone some day wants to offer me a fortune for them I will happily take it but extremely doubt its likeliness. Someone's paying the bill, there is no Tesla Coil.

  • Hmmm... strange. The papers might be worth something at auction.

  • Nikola Tesla is NOT America'a greatest electrician. He is Servian by origin.

So dont fucking make claim that have very little truth. The man was a genius on its own no country or politician contributed to that.

  • I copied and pasted much of the subtitles from Wikipedia. He worked in American, was *VERY* patriotic to American ideals, and died in America. Therefore while his nation of origin may have been Ser*b*ia (not Servia) he was an American citizen and inventor. So shut your mouth and get a life asshole. Because these claims have ALOT of truth behind them.

  • We made it in to the original lab plenty. It is just hard to tell from the video because it was so dark, and the only thing telling you it was original is the brick on the wall.

  • Hate to say it but if this video really was shot on the Wardenclyffe facilities they never made it to the original Tesla Lab part of the building. Looks like they were running around the parts later companies built onto the Lab.

  • I'm watching this on the History channel..JP Morgan funded it..it was all about worldwide wireless electrical transmission..Shoreham Long Island has some interesting history..he invented the induction motor..Edison-Tesla fued..Tesla patented AC power..

  • Excellent, I enjoyed learning a little bit about Telsa Labratories. The last picture is cool.
