  • OK kids, I have a 70 chevelle... heavy ass car, and I'm not so sure that a V6 mustang with a couple mods (C/A intake, true duels) AND THE RIGHT DRIVER, couldn't win some on the street... anyone can get tree'd...

    (I am working on a 98 v6 right now, so I'm a little biased) Fun cars though... a lot more expensive to work on than most other vehicles...

  • wow, aftermarket exhaust and true duals on a 145hp underpowered car, way to celebrate mediocracy. You would probably get your butt handed to you by a minivan at any streetlight. My car is slow and I have 60hp and 75 more ft/lbs of torque than you. Nice big rims, more rolling resistance, you probably lost at least a 1/2 second of acceleration right there. Go ahead and tell me that I'm an ogre and that its not about performance or whatever losers come back with, but you suck, and you always will.

  • My explorer probably has more horsepower than this generation V6, Im not sure of the GT's they got around 230 i think.. And thats saying something. Its got around 210 horsepower. But those newer one especially the 2011 mustangs, are the V6 mustang of all times. A dual exhaust 300+ horsepower. That's the V6 to get. Puts all other v6 mustangs to shame.

  • If you are talking about the B18c5, there are btw several b18 engines made by honda, it only makes 130LBs of torque. The 5.0L makes 300LB of torque. So why does a 200HP 300 lb lighter prelude lose to a 5.0L GT, easy, torque. That extra 140 LB of torque helped it get time 5 tenths faster, that and 15 extra horse power over the prelude.

  • Hard to believe considering that 5.0L that year came from the factory with 215 and headers plus a cat back doesn't equal 300 hp. Lets say it was a 5.0L cobra motor, still isn't going to equal that. I have seen 302s with a cam, trick flow cylinder heads, trick flow intake manifold, intake, headers, and an exhaust only make 280 at the wheels which is about 320 at the crank so nice try bro.

Also there are a slew of things you can do to make a v6 faster. I.e. computer chips, supercharger/turbocharger, exhaust systems, ignition modules etc. Back to the video though. If you like the car great, comment on how much you do!

  • @TheeAntic if you had a v8 and a brain, you woudlnt need to make your car faster because a v8 eats v6's. Also, if you wanted a fast v6 for cheap, youd find a manual honda accord or something at least like fuck .. my moms accord coupe is a standard and its a v6, its a lot quicker then a v6 mustang. My grand marquis will shit on a v6 mustang..
