the blue chewy candy you ate was ramune-flavored puccho. its kind of like a starburst, but chewier, and it contains gummy bits as well as little sour foamy bits (to emulate the carbonation of soda). in japan, blue is usually delegated to ramune flavor (kind of a bubble-gum/sprite flavored soda) rather than blue raspberry or blueberry flavors. look up "ramune" and you will probably want to try that as well, at least for the novelty factor :)

The sweet at 5:00 is called Puccho and that one is Ramune flavoured. Ramune is like a traditional soda in Japan. I think Puccho is supposed to have a gum-like texture but can be swallowed. They are obsessed with gum in Japan! xD They have lots of different flavours as well. If you search for puccho on jbox.com you'll find it there with a better description! Cool vid btw! :D

Haha, the candy around 5:08 is called Puccho- Ramune flavour. Ramune is a very popular soda in japan, and often found in a very interesting bottle. Puccho are little squares of taffy with small gummi bits hidden inside. very tasty!

That mystery one called "Hi-Chu." Only you got a different brand called "Pucchyo". To me, it's kinda like a strange textured, slightly less sweet version of Star Burst. The "Pucchyo" kind seems to be soda flavored a lot, while "Hi-Chu" is just normal fruit... usually. From my limited experience at least. Haha.
