  • dont even have to say its brushless i could hear it

  • The Mcpx is great but I agree my buddy and I are both going brushless and the skinny ass tail booms are a joke we modified those right away there is some good after market stuff to beef it up a bit the KBDD blades are awesome! Now I just need the 500X!! =)

  • 5:10 "how long have you been married Johnny?" lol!

  • Yeah right

  • euros and us dollars are different

  • I can't believe that tiny thing can stand up to all that wind.

  • Thanks for the video. I just got mine and still in the learning to hover phase of training. Thanks again for the video. (Tom)

  • It looks like you can outfly any of those planes with this little thing.

  • Nice flying

  • It is BULLSHIT that these don't already come with a brushless motor and for the money we pay eflite for these things, they shouldn't have to be upgraded!

  • @PC9JEFF everyone's out to make money man.

    as the world turns......

  • @PC9JEFF wow!! I paid £120 for my mcpx, a full cp heli that can do 3d with 2 batteries and a charger! you can crash it £0.00 repair bill !!! first person i heard of who's not happy with the price point! Do you even own an mcpx???

  • @johnjay1980 You got yours for a good price, We pay $210 plus about $30 for shipping over here in the U.S. And that is why I don't have one. I am kindof waiting for something better to come out. I have had almost all of the eflite helis though and the only one that I really like is the msr that is made by them. Check out my vids if you want.

  • what are the advantages for using a brushless motor?

  • @Nelrockz1 More power and stability during 3d flight.

  • damn so good out in that wind for a small heli

  • MisterTrober can you please send me your Dx6i controller setup? I just did the conversion and I am all over the place almost unflyable. I appreciate any help you can give.

    Steve

  • Nice man!!

  • all in fun and games mate, nice flight

  • haha speedbump on your head

  • The motor in link is discontinued where or what else can I use?

  • nice video! too bad Horizon doesn't hire guys like you to design their helis...

  • is dir das ding schon am kopp geflogen ,weil ne beule hast ? lol

  • dude, sweet man your the shit, can you send me all the info on the brushless upgrade,im sure they will be coming out with soon xsecially after they see yours !!!super fast and resposive, how much did conversion cost?please send me info i would greatly appriciate thanks and keep up the great work!!!!!

  • So much win in such a small package...

  • Why cant they make a heli like this out of the box !!

  • @Blacklamass The V2 is

  • @niplapla Its not brushless!!

  • @Blacklamass Because they know we will just do it ourselves, so they can sell a slightly inferior product we still buy it!

If I had to guess, they would get a bad reputation from all the crash damage associated with the higher RPMs. Brushless crashes just hurt worse, I know from personal experience. With the brushed setup, everything is stressed lower, so they get the reputation of a sturdy machine, which helps to sell it, alot, especially to "noobs"

I'm fine doing it myself :)

  • Thanks for sharing...You actually did 4.5 min flight time thats pretty good...were u running 200 mAh?

  • hands free in winds like that. awsome man! so how did you overcome play in original swash, also i'm guessing the main bearings were upgraded?

  • Let's see some inverted backwards flight or funnels to see if this mod even helps.

  • very cool! can't wait to get one so i can crash it!

  • wow te hek that was 1 sec and it flew like 40 meters :o

  • Very nice but not seeing it do anything much more than the stock version.

  • For the price of the brushless-mod you can almost buy a new BnF MCPx

  • @sonykroket True, but it´s worth it if you want to do more than just fly around. Stock tail doesn´t hold too well if you pitch aggressively and the stock motor is a little bit too weak for 3D. Otherwise the mcpx is a great heli out of the box.

  • @Axiomatic75

I did the extended tailboommod, that should be enough to do some mild 3D. It also holds way better in the wind and the battery lasts longer as the tailmotor has to work less. I can get almost 7 mins since i did the mod but i don't do much stunts yet.

I see all kinds of BL-mods but flighttimes are way too short for that price.

And they're not cheap either, i just don;t see the point.

  • DANG! SCREW MY 12S 600 THAT SEEMS TO HAVE IT!!!!!

  • where can someone get these mods?

    thanks

  • @HeliEbook lol i agree

  • Fixed wing pilots are closed minded toy players. Stay away from them and youll be glad you did. Great video

Your flying is so far past them its silly to let them watch.

  • @xterminatorSD

grossly generalize much? Yeah, there are a lot of plank pilots that are closed minded. Some even dislike other plank pilots based on what they fly (gas v electric, warbird v trainer). And I know very few good pilots, heli or plank, that look down on any other pilot based on what they fly.

    wtg brah.

    /golf clap.

@tRober - Thanks for the vid. My BL and 120 TB mods came in today, can't wait to install.

  • @Error4O1 - Well if youre flying at a Powered Plank Club then you know 99 percent are closed minded to helis and gliders for sure. You cant tell them anything. Youre flying makes them feel hurt. I know from exp. - They even think youre arrogant in how you fly even tho youre just being yourself. I quit my plank club because there is no use being around people who are impossible to talk with. They are self righteous also and bodering on criminal.

  • @xterminatorSD true, so true. Back in the mid 90's I got into competing in pattern, and essentially got run off from the local club because they didn't like pattern planes. Had to drive about an hour to another club that was cool. Sadly, the same thing is happening again now that I'm getting into fpv flying, and getting back into helis. It's kind of sad really. But I'm gonna just fly my Blade 400 with an Agusta 109 fuse like it's a plank, just to get my digs in. Cheers.

  • @xterminatorSD also, apologies for my reply from yesterday, not enough sleep and way too hungry to be posting.
