Yeah I've managed to catch him with SC3 and a few other bands in Aus and he's one of the most expressive drummers I've seen. Although very laid back.

Thanks for sharing the anecdotes guys - I cannot think of many things cooler than having dinner or smoking up with Secret Chiefs 3 members.

fortunately i was able to catch them in chicago like in 2000, or 2001 when estradasphere opened the set for them. plus i was lucky enough to see them with danny, and eyvind!

I was at that show as well (live in Chicago and been to every SC3 show here). However, I forgot my ID and they wouldn't let me in! I was determined to get in though as SC3 is and was one of my fav. groups of all time, so I hung out where the bands load in, found Tim Smolens who was playing bass for them at the time and explained my situation to him and he let me in with him after we got dinner down the street. rock n roll!

weird...my best friend came with me, and he was underage...but he was determined to get in...so he hung out until he spoke with tim and tim let him in. it was also that same night that i smoked pot downstairs with eyvind, trey, and some others.

This was the 4th time I've seen them perform, and the first time I saw them with Danny on drums. Absolutely amazing show!!
