Yeah, in Half-Life 2. There is a small combine monitor hanging on the ceiling in one map, I think it's in the Nova Prospect part :D

@Gennady100 They have pasty white skin, are bald, have robotic replacements for some of their organs like kidney and adam's apple, in their throat, which can be seen sticking out of their flesh. This is, however, only someone who is in the process of turning into a combine, and to my knowledge, is not in the same state as the soldiers you fight throughout the game. The true appearance of an average combine soldier is still a mystery. Keep in mind that the metrocops are voluntary humans.

@counterstrike911 basicly the Combine are humans modified by unknown aspects fron the Xen. Combine, aka. the humans are bent to the will of their commander the same way Striders and Hunters are.

Oh and its Nova Prospekt, not Nova Prospect... huge difference. Oh and HL2 Soundtracks are one of the best Ive ever heard.

i think combine are aliens but the civil protection police are human. the stalker guys i think are human but have been messed with, youknow they go into them blue things and wait for ages stored then they mess with them and turn them into slaves. 1. The choice was really fake he only gave him 1 true choice. 2. Gman is not Older Gordon as they have tons of stuff that would be seen in both of them no madder what age that you don't see. 3. Gman was not how you worked for in HL1 he was only around Black Mesa observing Gordon and helping him out in some spots and while he was not watching Gordon he was probable watching Sgt.Shepard (Or however from one of the Expansions)

you dont understand it. gman, looks for highly skilled people etc. shepard was one of them, although gordon was much better so he gave him a job, Gman is just a crazy psyco but is like gordon but gone mad... he may be able to see into the future, but dont say its fake when.. the whole game isnt actually real, its just imaginative.

In one of the HL1 things, Blue Shift or something, he walks toward a wall-thing and suddenly opens a portal infront of him, just out of nowhere, and he walks through. He may have made it, but he says even he has people highter than him at one point. (Mentions that he's been limited by others, might just reference to vortigaunts, though), so it could have been someone else.

@asianbeverage In fact you can never know for sure what's his purpose and from where he came. He just keeps a mistery to us, all we know (or at least me and some people think like this) is that he kind of looks after the main characters of the game (Gordon and Alyx), but I don't really know for sure his purpose, and I do not know from where the hell he came from, and how the hell he stops the time to talk with Gordon.
