there are so many things done right in this video: the best for me is that luxor had the smarts to put it all in slow motion, giving us a chance to enjoy the grace of it all. Hemingway once said (something on the order)::, "courage is grace under pressure". Here it is in full view.
the guy posting this missed one very important player, lets see if anyone spots who it is and when you do be sure to put in exactly the minute and second where he shows up

amazing analysis footage early on : look at how Tal plays with the pieces like a piece of music, not dissimilar to his hands on a piano, thats the mark of somebody in his element. Probably Capas hands would have floated over a chessboard exactly like that, like a goddam butterfly.

to me, Mikhail Tal is the greatest chess player ever. As a matter of fact, I think he's better than Bobby Fischer or Paul Morphy. Some of his moves are mind blogging.
Yes, it is true Fischer was a child prodigy and Tal wasn't exceptional at first, but comparing both their style; I have to say Tal's is the best. Fischer's is straight forward but Tal's is puzzling.
Most Excellent presentation: without any doubt whatsoever: from Music Selection to Honest Presentation to Wit of Presentation, LuxusOhr demonstrates the true Character of Compassion and Love... beyond any shadow of any doubt it is the FACT that the "The magician from Riga" Mikhail Tal as portrayed in the post by LuxusOhr is in fact just as happy to be a XmagicianX as Christ is to be Messiah... THAT is SIMPLE and that is FACT... LuxusOhr i hope you are liking the Ron bump you are ensured to get..
@79cristoff i once got an eighth grade Scholar's Bowl question right from answering the following Question: Who is the greatest violinist of all time? Answer: Paganini... my team ended up winning that game although we did not win any tournaments that year... we did however won a B Tournament with me, KK, AM, JPT, the "kid", and our coach.. Arkansas City Kansas 1992..

I like Tal because he seemed to occasionally throw wood in the fire to see what would shake out of the tree. Although I'm sure I understate it entirely. He DID seem like a magician, sometimes.
