The people of Scandinavia who believed in the Asa Gods were forced by the new Christians to believe in their religion, BUT ONLY if the Christians let the Asa God believers keep their winter traditions. And that's how Christmas was created, because of Asa traditions that has nothing to do with Christianity at all.
