Choreography was great, but the vocals were not. The vocals had a big lack of blend, and the pitch drifted in and out for the guys. The girls also needed to sing taller on the "ay-yo-way-yo-way-yo-way", because that did not sound mature at all. The band was absolutely awesome. Btw, JT was my roommate at SCA :)
Good job EEE, the choreo looks great in this number. It's really sharp, especially for an early season competiton. The only thing about this is your vocals don't sound as good as I was expecting. It sounds a little unbalanced and unblended. Maybe it's just me or maybe it was the mics/acoustics... but it sounds off. I'm sure it all sounds and looks even better now, though. :)
Costumes are awesome, vocals are awesome, choreography is absolutely amazing. Some of April James best work!!! and EEE did one hec of a job preforming it this early in the season. Way to go!!!
I will say I was very impressed with EEE this year. I think they are better vocally than last year, however their girls are still not as good as their guys. They rocked this song as an opener. I still prefer Fairfield's version, but this was simply awesome. I'm looking forward to seeing them at Dekalb. Also, big props on their ballad. I thought it was the best out of all the other choirs at Mt. Zion. Great job EEE!!!
