Get used to no funding for social programs like health care.
The Conservative gov't doesn't believe in taxes, and now that they've spent $50B+ on stimulus there's no money for social services.
It's even worse in BC. The Gordon Campbell is notorious for cutting spending on education and health care. They're actually a socially conservative gov't. People are deceived by the fact they called BC Liberal Party. They think that there's some connection between federal and provincial parties. :(
I lost my wife to cancer in canada, the reason was the treatment and sugerys took to long, its a fact that even in canada the system lets people die needlessly.
Mr. Dosanjh is absolutely right on this. Of course there's going to be points of failure, but we shouldn't define the whole system on these failures. We should strive to improve it.
