Yes, it's true, because it is not a "national anthem", but it is a Royal March. National Anthems were almost created in Revolutions in Europe in S. XIX. In Spain, the victory of Revolution was not total, and they couldn't change the "Royal March" for a "National Anthem".

Lo único que creo que lo de la dictadura hay que ponerlo en perspectiva. En la II Guerra Mundial se matan 60 millones de personas, y España no participa. En nuestra guerra mueren alrededor de 600ooomil, con la represión franquista incluida.

Italia y Alemania tienen democracia porque se la imponen.
