My grandfather, Brigadier General Cecil P. Lessig, was commander of the 41st Air Division. He flew Mr. Hope either to or from Guam for this trip. He, my grandmother, mother and aunt saw this show. Amazing experience!

Thank God for Bob Hope and all he did for the troops and all Americans. His dedication to them was like a love a Mother gives a child, everlasting no matter what. My Dad saw him in Thailand and Guam in the 60's. Think about it...all the times he spent with the troops, he spent away from his family back home.....that's love and dedication. Thank you..

My dad was stationed at Johnson Air Base with the 41st Air Division. I was an 11 year old dependent and was in the audience for that show. This was one of the great memories of my youth. Funny, I never got to see the Bob Hope Show when I was on active duty in Southeast Asia 12 years later.
